How to Get Luan's Wing Uniform in Dynasty Warriors Origins?
The joining will happen in Chapter 3 for the purpose of being able to have Luan's Wing Uniform. Chapter 3 implies a period where the protagonist needs to commit the Wanderer to one of Wei, Shu, or Wu; neutrality is no longer permissible. All this time, from Chapters 1 and 2, the protagonist had been free to speak to whomever cop he wanted to speak to in both Chapters 1 and 2.
When Chapter 3 gets underway, a new interface appears on the top left side of the screen, containing three faction leaders: Sun Jian, Liu Bei, and Cao Cao. Each of them has a set of favor diamonds beside their names. If you want to be accepted by them, you will have to fight for a faction in fights. Your standing for each leader increases as you fill a diamond for each combat you complete.
Joining a faction requires you to collect all of a leader's diamonds. You can actually ignore all the other conflicts and focus all your attention on the one with which you have already decided to side.
Factions can be a little tricky to select in Dynasty Warriors Origins, but if you really don't know under which banner you want to take up arms, then you can fight for multiple factions. Once the required favor points have been earned, the map will refresh with a new quest marker. You will have to travel to that location and start a battle to prove your loyalty.
After this faction fight, the game will eventually give you other fights that will let you either reinforce your choice or reevaluate your decision. Once all fights have been completed and your allegiance has been proven in a cutscene, the Wanderer will have access to Luan's Wing Uniform.
After joining a faction, its emblem will appear in your save file. Afterwards, the Wanderer proceeds through Chapters 4 and 5 as a member of that kingdom. The choice also molds the story and determines who Wanderer's allies and enemies will be for the rest of the game.
