How to Get Liu Bei's True Ending in Dynasty Warriors Origins?
The Shu ending requires defeating Cao Cao in the Battle of Changban that occurs in the fifth and final chapter of the game. Compared to the other two, this secret ending is by far the easiest to unlock in Dynasty Warriors: Origins, as players can unlock it by altering the fate of just one character, and there aren't many time constraints. Switching to the Historian difficulty setting will make everything a bit easier and increase the chances of success, though.
Once Cao Cao's main force reaches the circular area toward the top of the map, players should continue with the battle as usual. Now is the time to vanquish any enemy officers attempting to attack Liu Bei. Then, they should proceed north to the Wei soldiers, killing all the officers that stand in their way. When they reach their destination, they should waste no time in trying to kill Cao Cao. It would be better if they dispersed his huge army first, but Liu Bei is still in peril and edging ever closer to the escape point at all times, so they should probably wrap things up here as soon as possible.
Once Cao Cao falls, players must defeat Bailuan in a duel to end the battle, after which the Fate Altered message will appear onscreen. After they have completed the last two battles of Chapter 5 in a normal fashion, they will see the Shu true ending. If you plan ahead, you can obtain the true ending in your first playthrough. However, if you screw up, you can always just restart from the Battle of Changban by going to the Story menu at the Inn once you've completed Liu Bei's storyline.
Having finished the Shu tale with its true ending yields the "A Truly Just World" Trophy / Achievement.
