How to Get Ship Manifests in Dune Awakening

In Dune: Awakening, the endgame revolves around completing various tasks to aid the ruling factions in their struggle for dominance over Arrakis via the Landsraad. Both PvP and PvE players can actively participate in this ongoing arms race, and among the many potential Landsraad activities, players will frequently find themselves seeking out Ship Manifests.Arrakis offers an abundance of resources and valuables worth fighting for. However, in the endgame, players require very specific assets to effectively contend with opposing factions. Ship Manifests are precisely one such valuable item that the various Houses of the Empire will request from players. For those uncertain of their whereabouts, this guide will provide the necessary information.

Dune Awakening: Ship Manifest Locations

Ship Manifests are found within the wreckages of small cargo ships that randomly fall out of the sky. Players can scavenge these crash sites to acquire decent quantities of valuable resources, including:

• Plasteel Microflora Fiber
• Spice Sand
• Complex Machinery

Crucially, these wrecks also typically drop a Ship Manifest or two upon being salvaged.A significant characteristic of scavenging these shipwrecks is their tendency to crash on open sand. This exposes players to a high risk of being eaten by a sandworm if they take too long to cut open and loot the ships. While there's no way to completely prevent sandworms from heading towards a crashed ship (as the impact itself can attract them), you can mitigate the risk by considering the following:

• Avoid activating your shield and suspensor belt: These devices emit vibrations that can attract sandworms.
• Use boots that reduce Sandworm aggression: Specialized footwear can lower your detectability.
• Bring a Sandbike or Ornithopter with an attached booster module for a quick escape: A fast getaway vehicle is essential for escaping an approaching sandworm.

You'll typically be alerted to a potential crash site if you hear a random explosion in the distance. This sound usually indicates either a ship crash or a Spice Blow occurring nearby.

What to Do With Ship Manifests

Ship Manifests are a specific type of resource/valuable that are frequently requested by the different Houses of the Empire during active Landsraad terms.

• Contributing to Factions: Players can deliver Ship Manifests to the Houses that require them in exchange for various rewards.
• Faction Victory: Beyond the immediate rewards from contributing to individual Landsraad tasks, your contributions also directly impact your faction's victory for that specific Landsraad term.
• Decree Voting Rights: If your chosen faction emerges victorious, the top guilds within that faction will earn the exclusive right to vote for Decrees. These Decrees, once enacted, provide perks and benefits to all players on the server (unless otherwise specified by the Decree itself).

Landsraad tasks are often very generous with the rewards they offer. Therefore, if you observe a crashed ship in the desert, it's highly advisable to attempt to crack them open and acquire some Ship Manifests for current or future Landsraad contracts. Additionally, you might consider equipping a scanner onto your vehicle and actively hunting for Opafire Gems, as these are also frequently required for certain Landsraad contracts.
