All Classes in Dragon Quest 3 Remake

We invite you to discover what All Classes in Dragon Quest 3 Remake are, let's see.

All of your party members, with the exception of our hero, have complete freedom to choose their classes and professions in Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake. A Mage, Priest, and Warrior make up the game's default team, but you're free to swap them out whenever you choose. Naturally, you should be aware of the benefits that each profession can provide to your group. Some jobs are better than others, despite the game's attempts at balance.

All Classes in Dragon Quest 3 Remake

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake offers nine playable professions, including the hero-only Hero class. There are eight of them available at the beginning, but you can only unlock Sage by leveling up your party member. The ranking is as follows: Here's the class tier list:

  • S-Tier: Monster Wrangler, Thief, Sage
  • A-Tier: Warrior, Martial Artist, Mage
  • B-Tier: Priest
  • C-Tier: Gadabout, Merchant

S-Rank

The three best classes in Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake are the Sage, the Thief, and the Monster Wrangler. With the Monster Wrangler, you can catch subservient beasts in no time for the Monster Tournament, so it's really worth having this in your arsenal. Besides area-of-effect attacks, this job has an ability to heal the entire squad.

Another great starting profession, thief is good because it plunder's foes during combat. It can also search for nearby treasure with its Nose for Treasure skill. I would suggest, once you get a chance, you should change it to Sage, although this class contains a lot of AoE physical attacks.

After Hero, Sage is the first rank class. Anyone of this profession can cast any spell that a Mage or Priest learns. The bad news is that you can't use it immediately; you need either to use the Words of Wisdom key item or to upgrade the Gadabout class.

A Class

The three classes on A level are Mage, Warrior, and Martial Artist; although not as good as those on the S rank, they will still do well at the start of an occupation. Warrior is still one of the better choices for physical attackers despite being a bit slower than some of the other choices.

Since both Martial Artist and Warrior center on physical strikes, they're pretty similar. Even though they're a bit of a pain to use at the beginning, this profession offers the best CRIT rate and faster speeds compared to Warrior.

In a word, the mage is your best bet for magical damage; it is limited health that is his Achillies' heel. If you happen to get careless, he will be the first to die in fights. With their high Wisdom stats but relatively poor other stats, this makes practitioners of this profession a bit of a weak class.

Level B

Only the Priest class possesses a B rank in Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake. They are not needed, in my opinion, since the Hero could handle healing himself; besides, they have nothing to offer. When their MP runs out, almost useless. Better prepare for Sage and upgrade other classes instead. Whenever you want to feel secure on your walkthrough, this job is open for you.

Position C

Most of the classes are the poorest in-game, but the Gadabout is one of those few which can automatically level up to the Sage vocation. This in itself makes it a bit better, but the key selling point for this job is that it ignores your orders at higher levels. Even though this is a profession that can impact your team positively, this boisterous squad is also able to pull off a "prank" which negatively impacts the party, such as bringing in more monsters or preventing the Hero from striking.

It's certainly not as terrible as Gadabout, but being a merchant isn't necessarily a calling. They can increase wealth, but their stats are lesser than those of a Priest and they do not cast spells effectively.

Now that you know All Classes in Dragon Quest 3 Remake, you can excel in the one that best suits you, try it.
