Every year, Dragon Ball Legends celebrates its anniversary with a big event that has many challenges that you can complete to get rewards, and one of the exciting activities of the event is Dragon Hunt.
Dragon Ball Legends: How to scan QR codes
In two different ways you can get QR codes for the Dragon Hunt event:
- You can ask your fellow players to give you their QR code.
- Alternatively, you can create a QR code by copying your friend's code and using it to scan later.
If you are trying to share a code with a friend or vice versa, here is what you can do:
- Visit the Dragon Hunt event page in Dragon Ball Legends.
- There is an option here called "Get Code".
- It should give you a QR code after clicking this.
- Simply scan this code.
- Bandai Namco's Dragon Ball Legends features characters like Goku and Vegeta.
You can use your in-game "friend code" to get QR codes from your friends. You can do it this way:
- Tap the badge icon on one of your friends' cards and add them to your friends list.
- This should open a new window where you can enter your code.
- Copy and navigate to this code generator website. Use this third party website at your convenience.
- As long as you have three friend codes, you can generate up to three QR codes at the same time.
- All you need to do now is scan them and get your rewards.
Instructions for scanning QR codes
- In the Dragon Hunt event, you will find the “Scan Code” option and the “Get Code” option.
- When you click "Scan Code", your device will request camera permissions for the game.
- Then, grant permission and use your camera to scan the QR code on your friend's device or any other device you created.
- Each day, you can scan three QR codes, but these codes are valid for one day only. If you are using the code of someone who is not a friend, you must add them as a friend first.
To redeem rewards, you must wait until they accept your friend request.
Instructions for summoning Shenron
To summon Shenron, it is necessary to collect seven Dragon Balls, as shown in the anime. You just need to scan your friends' QR codes to get four of these items. To get the three remaining Dragon Balls, you must complete the challenges related to "Thank you for 6 years!" Special mission anniversary rewards. You will be able to call Shenron from the Dragon Hunt event page once you have obtained all seven Dragon Balls.
