Firmament Mt., a new map in Wuthering Waves located southeast of the Huanglong mainland region, offers explorers the chance to find up to five Mutterflies. These small golden insects, when followed to their destination, reward players with five Astrites. By completing all the Mutterfly challenges in Firmament Mt., a total of 25 Astrites can be obtained.
How to Find Mt. Firmament Mutterfly in Wuthering Waves?
To locate the Mutterflies efficiently, it is recommended to follow these steps:
- Use Resonance Beacons: Each Mutterfly is located near a specific Resonance Beacon. Consult the in-game map to identify the Resonance Beacon closest to the desired Mutterfly location.
- Explore the Resonance Beacon's Surroundings: Once at the Resonance Beacon, explore the surroundings in search of the Mutterfly. These bugs are usually found in places like tree stumps, ruins, or near devices.
- Track the Mutterfly: Once the Mutterfly is located, follow it to its destination. The bug will fly slowly, guiding the player to its final location.
- Complete the Challenge: In some cases, it may be necessary to complete an Echo Challenge to free the Mutterfly and obtain the reward. Pay attention to the on-screen prompts to complete the corresponding challenge.

- Location: Luminous Shore
- Resonance Beacon: Resonance Nexus
- Directions: Head southeast from the Resonance Nexus to find the Mutterfly on a tree stump.
- Reward: 5 Astrites
- Caution: Dwarf Cassowary and Fractisidus enemies present in the area.
Mutterfly #2
- Location: Xuanji Ridges
- Resonance Beacon: North Resonance Beacon
- Directions: Teleport to the north resonance beacon and turn around before climbing the rock. The Mutterfly is located on another tree stump.
- Reward: 5 Astrites
- Caution: Dwarf Cassowary enemies present in the area.
Mutterfly #3
- Location: Loong's Ridges
- Resonance Beacon: West Resonance Beacon
- Directions: Use the west resonance beacon and head east. The Mutterfly is located inside a small ruin near a glowing building. A Windchimer can also be found inside the ruin.
- Reward: 5 Astrites
Mutterfly #4
- Location: Sentinel Jue's Domain
- Resonance Beacon: Southwest Resonance Beacon (Domain Entrance)
- Directions: Teleport to the southwest resonance beacon and turn around. Continue straight ahead to find the Mutterfly near a device on a broken rock pillar.
- Reward: 5 Astrites
- Caution: Possible enemies present in the area.
Mutterfly #5
- Location: Loong's Crest
- Resonance Beacon: Resonance Beacon under the dragon's head
- Directions: Teleport to the Resonance Beacon and head northeast. The Mutterfly is located inside a ruin.
- Reward: 5 Astrites
- Echo Challenge: Completing the Clang Bang Echo Challenge is required to free the Mutterfly and obtain the reward. Instructions for completing the challenge are located on-screen.
