Even though Shen Shen begins with the Magic Missile spell, her passive ability makes her more suitable for a physical damage build, so resist the urge to focus on magic damage when building her. Her passive grants her an advantage in Physical Damage dealt to any adversary she hits with her Magic Damage ability.

"Track" follows the enemy and deals light physical damage. The tracked target is vulnerable to additional attacks and may drop gold when killed.
With a series of swift slashes, swashbuckle your adversaries horizontally. A minor knockback is also present.
"Rot" causes a small area of effect (AE) to constantly deal magical damage to you.
Annihilation deals tremendous physical damage to a wide number of opponents. An extended cooldown period is associated with it.
The bat companion summoned by Snotty the Bat can take items and experience, slow foes, and do area damage.
When taking on the role of Shen, it's wise to stock up on Physical Damage. While using Daedalus, Kez's passive critical damage does not stack.
