The Campaign Requirement

To gain access to the Praxic Blade, Guardians must advance far into the Renegades Campaign until they reach Quest Step 33.Reaching this stage signals that you are mentally and physically prepared for the next level of challenge. Upon hitting this critical checkpoint, your objectives will update, tasking you with a visitation: you must meet with the revered Aunor and travel to the ancient Praxic Temple.

Initiating the Fire and Ice Mission

This journey to the temple is, in fact, the start of the required Exotic Mission: Fire and Ice. This highly challenging instance is designed to be a crucible that tests a Guardian's capability across various disciplines.

Phase 2: Navigating the Praxic Temple

The Exotic Mission is structured into three distinct segments: traversal, puzzle-solving, and a final boss encounter.

1. The Icy Ascent and Taken Conflict

The mission begins by thrusting you into a harsh, icy tundra. You must navigate this frozen landscape until you reach a large open area known as the Courtyard.

• This Courtyard is heavily defended by enemy forces, primarily the Taken.
• You must neutralize all hostile combatants in this zone to proceed.
• Once the area is clear, a mysterious portal will activate, allowing you to advance into the deeper sections of the temple.

2. The Labyrinthine Descent

Moving forward requires keen awareness of the environment. Look for a pathleading into a towering structure at the center of the room.

• You must platform your way onto the central pillar.
• Once atop the pillar, you will find an entrance allowing you to drop into the deep pit below.
• This transition leads into an extensive jumping puzzle section, requiring precision and careful movement to navigate variousgaps and moving obstacles until you finally reach the antechamber of the boss room.
