How to Find the Golden Age Lab in Destiny 2

In Destiny 2's "Disruption" mission, a part of The Edge of Fate campaign, players navigate through Vex-infested areas and solve environmental puzzles. One key objective is to reach the Golden Age Lab. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough to help you find and access this location.

Destiny 2: How to Find the Golden Age Lab

Locate the Golden Age Lab in Disruption Mission

1. Initial Vex Encounter (Train Area)

• Starting Point: After you disembark from the train, you'll find yourself in the first main combat area of the "Disruption" mission.
• Environment: The floor here is covered in pools of Radiolaria, and the area is crawling with Vex.
• Strategy: The enemies in this particular section do not respawn. It's advisable to take your time and clear out all the Vex units before proceeding to solve any puzzles, ensuring your safety.
• Finding the Path: Once the room is clear, look for a narrow gap in the wall. This opening is too small for your Guardian in normal form.
• Utilize Matterspark: Use your Matterspark ability to transform into a ball of energy. In this compact form, you can roll through the small opening to access the next area.

2. The Harpy Room

• Entry: After rolling through the Matterspark tunnel, you'll enter a new room.
• Enemies: This room is typically populated by Vex Harpies.
• Activating Stabilizing Dark Matter: Within this room, you'll find a Charge Matter Realignment station. Interacting with this station will grant you the Stabilizing Dark Matter ability.
• Puzzle Element: Use your Stabilizing Dark Matter ability on the glowing green wall in the room. This action will cause the wall to shift or phase, creating a new pathway forward.

3. Arriving at the Golden Age Lab

• Dropping Down: With the green wall now shifted, drop down through the newly opened gap. This will lead you directly into the Golden Age Lab.
• Initial Lab Encounter: Upon landing in the Golden Age Lab, you will notice three Vex Minotaurs. Do not engage them immediately; they are currently immune to damage.
• Proceeding Through the Lab: Your objective here is not to fight the Minotaurs yet. Instead, keep moving forward through the lab until you reach the other end of the main section.
• Next Matterspark Activation: Near a Vex barrier on the first floor of the lab, you will find another Matterspark charge point. Grab it to re-activate your Matterspark ability.
• Exiting the Lab: Transform into your Matterspark ball form again and roll through the small tunnel nearby. This tunnel will take you out of the lab and lead you directly to the next phase of the mission, often indicated by a Rally Banner, signaling a checkpoint and potentially a more significant encounter.

By following these steps, you will successfully navigate the complexitiesof the "Disruption" mission and reach the Golden Age Lab, progressingfurther into The Edge of Fate campaign.
