How to complete Kneeling Hive Knight activity in the Pale Heart Destiny 2
The Kneeling Hive Knight presents a unique challenge within the Landing section of the Pale Heart. While seemingly straightforward, defeating this enemy and reaping the associated rewards requires a specific sequence of actions.
Locating the Kneeling Hive Knight:
- The Kneeling Hive Knight manifests as a random event within the Landing area.
- Look for the Knight positioned on the overhang near the bridge, typically encountered during Overthrow Level 2.
Engaging the Knight:
- Eliminate the Knealing Hive Knight to acquire an orb.
Crucial Portal Interaction:
- Here's the critical step:Refrain from simply entering the portal with the orb.
- Execute a jump towards the portal while holding the orb and simultaneously perform a melee attack on the portal itself.
Progression and Rewards:
- A successful melee strike on the portal will trigger teleportation back to the overhang, accompanied by the portal's relocation.
- The Knight will also respawn nearby in a non-kneeling state.
- Defeat the Knight again, collect the orb, and proceed to the next portal, reiterating the jump-and-melee maneuver.
Maintaining Control of the Encounter:
- Be prepared to engage with Hive reinforcements that spawn upon initiating the portal breaches. Eliminate these reinforcements to maintain control of the situation.
Repetition and Success:
- Completing this jump-and-melee sequence on multiple portals will grant you a chest and contribute significantly towards progressing to the next Overthrow level.
Mitigating Errors:
- There's no penalty for losing the orb or missing the jump. The Knight will respawn, granting you another attempt.
