Yes! Toby Fox designed Deltarune to recognize your demo save files automatically, whether you're playing on PC, Mac, or consoles. However, the process varies slightly depending on your platform.

How to Transfer Deltarune Save Data

On PC & Mac (Steam, Itch.io, etc.)

The process is effortless:

Install the full version of Deltarune.

Launch the game—it will automatically detect your demo save files.

Continue playing right where you left off.

No manual transfers are needed—just make sure you’re using the same system where you played the demo.

On Nintendo Switch & PlayStation (PS4, PS5, Switch 2)

Console players can also transfer their progress, but there are a few key details:

Launch the full version—the game will scan for demo save data.

If found, you’ll see a prompt asking if you want to import your progress.

Confirm the transfer, and your save will load.

Important Notes for Console Players:

• Same Account Required: The demo save must be under the same user profile as the full game.
• Save Data Must Still Be on the Console: If you deleted your demo save, you can’t transfer it.
• Upgrading Consoles?
  • Switch 2 can import saves from the original Switch.
  • PS5 can import saves from PS4.

What If You Skipped the Import Prompt?
