Weapon Slots: You have three distinct slots for ranged weapons:

• Primary Weapon (Long Gun): Typically rifles, shotguns, or crossbows.
• Secondary Weapon (Special Weapon): Often heavier weapons like machine guns or more powerful rifles.
• Sidearm (Pistol/Revolver): Your standard handgun.

Finding New Weapons: As you explore the world, loot enemies, and complete missions, you'll discover various ranged weapons.

Purchasing Weapons: Encampment merchants, like those at Copeland's Camp, Iron Mike's Camp, and Diamond Lake Camp, sell a variety of ranged weapons as your trust level with them increases.

Swapping Weapons: When you find a new ranged weapon and your corresponding slot is full, you'll be prompted to swap it with your currently equipped weapon in that slot or leave the new weapon behind.

Storing Weapons (Indirectly): You don't have a traditional "storage" for a large arsenal of weapons. The three slots you carry are your active ranged weapons. The Frontier Motel is a relatively expansive area comprised of several smaller buildings.If you missed the safe and its combination during the initial tutorialsequence, you can return to this location once you have access back tothe Belknap region, which is situated to the west of the Cascade region (the starting area).

Once you're in the Frontier Motel area, the safe itself is usually locatedwithin one of the main motel rooms. You'll be able to interact with it,but it will prompt you for the combination to open.

Finding the Frontier Motel Safe Combination

The combination for the Frontier Motel safe is located surprisingly closeto the safe itself, making it easy to overlook. Instead of being hiddenin a distant location, it's a small piece of paper tucked away in a drawer within the adjacent room.

To find the safe combination:

Locate the door on the same wall as the safe.

Open this door and enter the room behind it.

Inside this room, look for a dresser with an open drawer. This dresser is situated right beside the window that overlooks the gas station.

The Frontier Motel safe combination will be found within this open drawer.

Once you have obtained the combination from the piece of paper, return tothe room with the safe and interact with it. You can now input thecombination to unlock it.
