Crystal of Atlan, a recently launched magicpunk-themed MMORPG, immerses players in a unique universe where the realms of magic and technology intertwine. The game boasts a diverse roster of classes for Adventurers, each offering distinct sub-classes, all of which feature unique visual appearances.Beyond simply progressing through the captivating storyline and mastering the intricate combat system, players often seek to personalize their experience by controlling a character that truly reflects their individual preferences. Fortunately, Crystal of Atlan incorporates a robust character customization system, enabling players to make minor aesthetic alterations at a minimal cost.

How to Change Appearance in Crystal of Atlan

Upon embarking on their journey in Crystal of Atlan, Adventurers are presented with a choice of five initial classes: Swordsman, Musketeer, Magister, Puppeteer, and Fighter. While each of these starting classes possesses its own distinct character appearance and is gender-locked, players will only experience these initial looks for a limited time. At Level 15, characters must advance to their respective advanced classes, which come with entirely different designs and appearances.After successfully completing the class advancement quest, you will be introduced to a merchant named Cici in Lumiville by the NPC Ellie. (It is worth noting that you can interact with Cici even before this formal introduction, as soon as you arrive in Lumiville.) Upon conversing with Cici, you will be presented with several options:

• Dye Outfit: This option allows you to change the color scheme of outfits you already own, provided they are designated as dyeable.
• Change Appearance: This system offers a selection of presets for various character features, including facial characteristics, hairstyles, and clothing colors. A slider is also available to adjust your in-game character's skin tone.
• Marionette Customization: This exclusive option is only available to players who chose the Puppeteer class. It grants the ability to recolor specific parts of your character's puppet companion.
• Chat: A standard dialogue option.

While all these appearance changes come with an associated price, the cost is minimal. Players are unlikely to face significant financial strain, even if they choose to modify their character's appearance daily (though this is generally not recommended, as it's more beneficial to allocate in-game currency towards enhancing your unit's power).

How to Get and Use Outfits in Crystal of Atlan

The "Outfit" section within the Gear menu becomes accessible to all players once they reach Level 10. Outfits in Crystal of Atlan are unique pieces of clothing that do not occupy your regular gearslots. Beyond their aesthetic appeal, they also provide valuable bonusstats, enhancing your character's capabilities. Outfits can be acquiredthrough various means: participating in in-game events, utilizing thededicated outfit summoning system, or purchasing them directly from theCash Shop. All outfits obtained via the summon banner and the Cash Shoptypically require premium currencies, such as Opal and Prismadium, which are primarily acquired by spending real money.

If you happen to obtain an outfit with desirable stats but find its appearance unappealing, Crystal of Atlan offers a Transmog Outfit system. This feature allows you to alter the appearance of an outfit piece tovisually resemble another outfit piece you already own. This means youcan maintain the beneficial stats of one outfit while enjoying thevisual style of another. To utilize the Transmog Outfit system, you will need a specific item called a Refraction Crystal, which can be obtained either from the in-game shop or through the outfit summoning system.
