Accessing the Order Bunker at Craven’s Nook
Your hunt for the Craven's Nook bunker begins in the Terminus Range, specifically in the Heart of the Mountain zone. Traverse the main cave paths until you reach a platform that you can grapple to. From this point, diverge from the straight route and instead take the path to the left. As you continue, you will eventually find yourself in front of a massive, sealed bunker door.Unlike some other entrances in the game, this one requires a specific item to open. To acquire it, turn to your left and look down from the cliff edge. You'll spot a Locust station perched on a rock platform below. This small station dispenses canisters containing a corrosive chemical that is the key to melting the bunker's reinforced door. Grab a canister, return to the bunker entrance, and toss it at the door to dissolve the protective barrier, granting you entry.Navigating the Bunker and Locating the Boss
Once inside Craven's Nook, the path to the final boss is relativelystraightforward, but it requires a bit of clever traversal. Look for avent on the left wall of the initial chamber. You can interact with andpull this vent open, revealing a crawl space. Squeeze through the vent,and you'll find yourself in an elevator shaft. Climb your way up theshaft, using your platforming skills to reach the top. A final grapplewill propel you onto the last platform, bringing you to the end of thebunker and the boss arena.
At the end of this journey, a powerful enemy awaits: Callous, Harbinger of Annihilating Death.
The Boss Encounter: Callous, Harbinger of Annihilating Death
Callous is a challenging adversary, so preparing for the fight is crucial.First, ensure your ammo reserves are topped off, as this battle can be a drawn-out affair.
The key to victory is managing both yourdistance from the boss and your movement. Callous is accompanied by ahost of smaller, melee-focused enemies that will constantly rush you.Keep moving to avoid getting overwhelmed by these lesser foes. Callous's own attacks are often heavily telegraphed, so pay close attention tohis animations to anticipate incoming damage and dodge effectively.
Beyond his direct attacks, Callous is a difficult opponent due to hisextensive defenses. He has both a large shield and a hefty armor bar. To efficiently break through these, you'll need to utilize elementaldamage. Bring a weapon with Shock damage to quickly deplete his shield.Once that's gone, switch to a Corrosive or Cryo weapon to tear throughhis armor, leaving him vulnerable to your primary firepower. By keepingyour distance, staying mobile, and exploiting his elemental weaknesses,you can defeat Callous and claim the powerful legendary loot thatawaits.
