In the dark, stylish world of
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 (VTMB2), clothing is far more than a cosmetic choice. As
Phyre, the centuries-old Elder Vampire known as The Nomad, your attire directly dictates how the denizens of Seattle—both the living (Kine) and the dead (Kindred)—perceive and interact with you. Wearing the wrong outfit in the wrong neighborhood can invite suspicion or hostility, while the right clothes can open doors.Unlocking Phyre’s full, eclectic wardrobe requires dedicated progression, blending the acquisition of
Clan Skills with strategic use of
Resonant Blood. If you want to master the art of vampiric fashion and maximize your social standing, you'll need to know exactly how to gain access to every Clan's signature style.
Bloodlines 2: How to Get All Outfits
The Dual Key: Skills and Resonant Blood
Unlocking new outfits in
Bloodlines 2 is directly tied to expanding Phyre’s repertoire of vampiric powers. Every time you acquire a new skill within a Clan's discipline line, you unlock a corresponding outfit.
Acquiring Skills and XP
- Skill Points: You need enough XP to level up and earn the Skill Points required to invest in a discipline.
- Awakening Other Clan Abilities: After completing the main story quest "A Star of Cold Aspect," you gain the ability to Awaken skills from Clans beyond your starting one. This requires both Skill Points and specific types of Resonant Blood.
Resonant Blood: The Catalyst
Resonant Blood is the special currency needed to Awaken the powerful abilities of other Clans. It's extracted from specific civilians marked with colored symbols above their heads when you use your Heightened Senses.
| Resonance Color | Emotional State Triggered | Interaction Method to Extract |
| Red | Choleric (Anger) | Pick a fight with them. |
| Blue | Melancholic (Despair) | Intimidate them. |
| Pink | Sanguine (Passion) | Flirt with them. |
Your choice of dialogue and clothing can affect the outcome of these interactions, making your fashion sense a tool for blood farming.
Clan Affinity and Cost
Unlocking an ability from an outside Clan costs more Skill Points than unlocking one from your starting Clan. This extra cost can be reduced by building Clan Affinity, which is a measure of how friendly you are with that Clan's members. The more you interact and side with a Clan, the cheaper their skills become.
The Nexus of Power: Finding Clan Contacts
To start the process of unlocking new Clan abilities and outfits, you must first visit the high-ranking members of each Clan. These Clan Contacts are scattered across Seattle's territories and become accessible once Prince Ryong grants you freedom of movement.
| Clan | Contact Name | Location | Territory Style |
| Banu Haqim | Niko | Aurora Pawn | Predators, Stealth, Simple Clothing |
| Brujah | Silky | The Dutchman | Rebels, Biker Leathers, Intimidation |
| Tremere | Mrs. Thorn | Wake The Dead | Warlocks, Occult Aesthetic, Blood Magic |
| Toreador | Patience | Aurora Pawn (Backroom) | Artists, Extravagant Suits, Seduction |
| Lasombra | Onda | The Glacier Hotel Lobby | Shadow Manipulators, Religious/Clergy Aesthetic |
| Ventrue | Fletcher | Makom Bar | Nobility, Authority, Regal Suits |
The Full Wardrobe: Outfits Unlocked by Skills
The most direct way to unlock a new outfit is by investing in a corresponding skill from that Clan’s discipline line.
Tremere Outfits (Occult Aesthetic)
The Tremere outfits reflect their status as blood mages, often featuring occult and arcane elements.
- The Trickster: Unlocked by Blood Curse
- The Magister: Unlocked by Blood Salvo
- The Mage: Unlocked by Cauldron of Blood

Brujah Outfits (The Biker Look)
Brujah attire emphasizes their radical, outcast nature, leaning into rugged biker leathers and jeans, making you seem more intimidating.
- The Rebel: Unlocked by Taunt
- The Brawler: Unlocked by Charge
- The Outcast: Unlocked by Earthshock
- The Drifter: Unlocked by Lightning Strike
Toreador Outfits (Extravagant Style)
Toreador clothes are extravagant and often garish, designed to make you stand out. Wearing them increases your personal appeal, though some may find you pretentious.
- The Player: Unlocked by Entrancing Kiss
- The Poet: Unlocked by Blink
- The Elder: Unlocked by Beckon
- The Diva: Unlocked by Blurred Momentum
Ventrue Outfits (Noble Authority)

- The Prince: Unlocked by Possession
- The Seneschal: Unlocked by Terminal Decree
- The General: Unlocked by Mass Manipulation
Banu Haqim Outfits (Stealthy Predator)
These simple outfits are designed for blending into crowds, appealing to common folks but potentially drawing scorn from the upper echelons of Kindred society.
- The Justicar: Unlocked by Unseen Aura
- The Stalker: Unlocked by Bladed Hand
- The Sheriff: Unlocked by Mute
- The Slayer: Unlocked by Split Second
Lasombra Outfits (Clergy and Shadow)
Lasombra clothes borrow from a religious aesthetic, making Phyre appear as a holy figure to some, though this may not be universally welcomed.
- The Atheist: Unlocked by Arms of Ahriman
- The Shadow Dancer: Unlocked by Shadow Step
- The Priest: Unlocked by Enter Oblivion
- The Sin Eater: Unlocked by Glimpse of Oblivion
Quick Appearance Change
Remember, once an outfit is unlocked, you can change it—along with your hair, eyes, piercings, and facial features—at any moment by simply accessing the Appearance tab in the pause menu. This freedom allows you to adapt Phyre's look to any social or strategic encounter instantly.
Which Clan's style will you prioritize to define Phyre’s presence in Seattle?
