To access the Surrender menu, which appears at the bottom of the Activities tab, you must first ensure that you were not born in Washington in your current life. After then, you can start a new Custom Life after deciding to give up your present one.


The following values can be entered in the character creator menu:

  • You have complete control on your gender.
  • Choose "United States" as your country.
  • Change your location to Seattle.
  • Put your own spin on your traits and unique skill set.
  • Begin your entirely new custom life.
  • Get into carpentry.

Becoming a carpenter does not require any extraordinary efforts on your part. After finishing high school, all you have to do is look for full-time employment opportunities under the Occupation category. The It's Giving Tree Challenge continues when you apply for a job as an Apprentice Carpenter, go through the interview, and then go on to the next activity.

Prize a Vehicle


You can buy a car or two after working as a carpenter for a while and saving up enough money to give them to someone you care about. Go Shopping is the first option you'll see when you go to the Assets tab. You can buy any car from them. Return to the Assets tab and find your vehicle in the Vehicles section. To donate that vehicle, go to the main menu and select the "Gift" option.

Prize Up to $10,000


While it may be easier to merely give away $10,000 than a car, you'll still need a substantial income to pull that off. After you’ve accumulated at least $10,000 in your bank balance, click over to the Relationships page and select the person you want to send the money to. Choose the Give Money option, then set the slider to indicate a figure of $10,000 or more, then give it to them.

Retire an Artifact


You can't part with an heirloom unless you own one. A yellow bar reading "New Heirloom!" will appear on your BitLife dashboard daily. located just above the tabs for Assets and Occupation. Go with that choice and you'll have an heirloom on your hands. Go ahead and choose out your Heirloom by going to the Assets tab. To donate your treasured possession, use the "Give to Charity" option.
