New in the patch v0.12.0 of Fields of Mistria is the summertime Shooting Star Festival. All details will be given without spoiling anything: when it is, what level of hearts is needed to go, and what quests are needed to participate.

How To Start the Shooting Star Festival in Fields of Mistria?

On the last day of summer, Summer 28, is when the Shooting Star Festival happens. She'll swing by the farm early in the morning to fill you in on exactly how to convince that special someone to come star gaze from the summit. Well before the event kicks off at 8 PM sharp, she'll provide you with the Star Brooch, which you can then give to any NPC you find dateable, provided you have met the quest and heart level requirements.

All you need to do to attend afterwards is meet up with your date, having given the brooch as a gift. What's more, all the NPCs will be waiting in the square, meaning one needn't waste any time locating them.

Do make sure to complete all daily tasks and put your animals to bed as well, because participation will end the day after the cutscene with your date.

Requirements for the Shooting Star Festival at Fields of Mistria

Now, to set a date for the Shooting Star Festival, two things simply have to come to pass:

The "Beautification Project" quest has to be completed.
Build up four hearts or more with the NPC you want to take to the festival
Repairing the mill in town will start the "Beautification Project" quest, at the end of this you'll get access to the Summit, where you'll meet your date for the festival.

The quickest way for four hearts or more is to shower your favorite loveable NPCs with Liked and Loved gifts. That will fulfill the heart requirement. Another thing you'll want to do is make sure to stop and talk to them once a day. Together, they'll give you the emotional boost you need to progress through the top romances in Fields of Mistria.

Feel free to socialize with other townies at the Shooting Star Festival in Fields of Mistria if you are not really ready to commit to a romantic pursuit.

Please note that the contents in Fields of Mistria are subject to further refinement as it's an Early Access title. We'll make sure to update this as necessary, but for now, the above is correct at the time of Version 0.12.0.
