Collecting the Tags: Quick Tips

Dog Tags are the primary collectibles in the Battlefield 6 campaign.

• Interaction: Pick them up with E on PC, X on Xbox, or Square on PlayStation.
• Visibility: Always look for their distinct metallic shine or glint, which is designed to make them stand out in the environment.
• Information: Each collected tag reveals the name and date of birth of a soldier.

Dog Tag 1: Saied Zaher

The first tag appears after the opening armored sequence, requiring you to transition to on-foot combat.

• Transition to Foot: After the initial Tank section where you clear the main threat, you will be prompted to exit the vehicle and proceed forward on foot.
• Through the Building: Follow your team into and through the first building structure in your path.
• Exit and Look Right: As you exit the building, you will see the main mission path on your left, but you need to ignore it for a moment. Instead, immediately look to your right.
• The Tree: You will spot a tree in a small courtyard area. The collectible Dog Tag, belonging to Saied Zaher (Egyptian Ground Forces - 26 May 04), is lying right on the ground next to the base of this tree.

Grab this tag before proceeding down the main objective path to ensure you don't advance the checkpoint too far.

Dog Tag 2: Hassan Taha

The second collectible is located near the end of the mission, requiring careful timing to avoid the final cutscene.

• Advance to the Open Area: After collecting the first tag, follow the main path until you emerge into a large open area where the helicopter is visibly close. This area will be dense with enemy infantry, so deal with them first to secure the location.
• Crucial Warning: Avoid the Helicopter! Do NOT approach the helicopter wreck just yet. Approaching it will trigger the final mission cutscene, instantly ending 'Nile Guard' and causing youto miss the collectible.
• Search the Northeast Building: Once the area is cleared of PAX enemies, look toward the northeast side of this open plaza.
• Spot the Storefront: You are looking for a small building or storefront with distinctive features: it usually has a few blue chairs or seating arrangements outside, and often a blue umbrella or awning to the right.
• The Final Tag: Head inside this building. The Dog Tag, belonging to Hassan Taha (Egyptian Ground Forces - 25 AUG 96), is stuck on the wall, often pinned near posters or a makeshift notice board.

If you accidentally trigger the cutscene and miss the tag, remember that 'Nile Guard' is barely 15 minutes long. You can easily replay the mission from the campaign menu and return to this spot quickly.
