Today we bring you an explanatory guide on Where to Find Lynel Echo in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom with precise details.

Those later game creatures of Wisdom can be a real pain, so if your current set of Echoes just aren't cutting it, it's time to go on the look for some better ones. If not, you should probably start venturing more of Hyrule once you are done with the first three dungeons. The Lynel, one of the toughest Echoes, can be found north of Hyrule Castle Town. This iconic Zelda foe made its return to Breath of the Wild and now is at your command in Echoes of Wisdom. Once you've mastered level 2/3 Echoes, you should be able to take on the fearsome Lynel-which is on par with its BotW/TotK counterpart.

Where to Find Lynel Echo in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom

Location of the Eternal Forest

The Lynel can be found between Hebra and Eldin in the Eternal Forest. You have to clear the rift over the Northern Sanctuary before the Lynel can come. While Zelda can do this before to the "Still Missing" main quest, the Lynel won't show up until she is able to alter her attire.

Find Tri's friends in the Northern Sanctuary gap, enter the sanctuary and approach the priest sitting at the podium. Choose "Other Tales?" then inquire about monster. He will say how villagers have been finding monster foot prints in the Eternal Forest.

Tracking Lynel's Footsteps

Pass the warnings of the priest and go west into the Eternal Forest. The entrance will be guarded by a Waypoint statue. It should be noted that the Eternal Forest map doesn't have any well-defined roads. Go northwest from the end of the road leading into the woods. One more Waypoint statue will be there.

South of the Waypoint monument, in the mud, you can see hoof prints. To find the Lynel, you have to follow these as they take you through the Eternal Forest.

Going west from the original hoof prints, you can see some more.

  • From here, continue west.
  • Take the third set of tracks to head south.
  • As you make your way towards the following batch, southeast, keep an eye out for a Level 2 Sword Moblin.
  • Heading from there, travel east past the Caromadillo you just cleared. For the rest of the steps, all movement is to the east.
  • Continuing around the entire room where the entrance was, you'll notice hoof marks that weren't there upon entry. From this point, you can head north up a path that curves northeast before continuing north into an opening.
  • If you're in the right direction, but simply can't spot hoof prints in the mud, then it's time to reset. To search for the first set of hoof prints, go back to the Waypoint statue - on foot or warp - and try again.

Lynel Beaten Ways

The Lynel Echo Cost: How Much Is Using It?

Only use Level 3 Echoes if you have them since this Lynel is a formidable opponent that will easily one-hit your weaker Echoes. If those don't cut it, then use Level 2 Echoes. Level up Tri's Echoe you should to a point you can summon two Lv. 2 Echoes, even though you can get the Lynel Echo rather early in the latter half of Echoes of Wisdom.

The cave is located in the southwest of Faron Wetlands, north of the heart-shaped lake. Inside, you will obtain the Lizalfos Lv. 3 echo, which is said to be handy against the Lynel. The Lizalfos is an extremely good match with the Lynel because of his speed and dodging of attacks. However, if the Lizalfos' spear attack is blocked, he becomes dazed and open for any counterattack. If the Lizalfos stops responding, replace it with another Echo. One Level 3 Sword Moblin can be found close to the second Lynel set of tracks.

Trying to bind the Lynel with the Bind Ability of Tri won't work. Don't forget to re-summon your Echo from time to time and also try to keep Zelda away from Lynel. Another alternative is using a bow in Swordfighter Mode to make long-range attacks.

Eventually, it will fall, and you can find its Echo. This beast is so powerful that even the final boss can't take it down. In order to defeat the Lynel, you will need six of Tri's triangles of power. By the time Tri has reached level 9 they will be able to use the Echo of the Lynel. The number you will pay to call the Lynel will change when you reach maximum level, at level 11, to 5 triangles.
