Graveyard Cave is an absolute must-see for any fan of The Zelda Echoes of Wisdom A Link to the Past, boasting a few brain-twisters to work your way through and hurtling you back to those sewers, much like where your journey originally began, almost two decades ago.

That fissure means the Northern Sanctuary won't be there when you first show up. You'll be able to see the sanctuary and graveyard again after having used the Still World to fix the place. To the west of the Sanctuary, in the Graveyard, is a discreet cave mini-dungeon with its special echoes and rewards.

Light two torches with the Ignizol echo-or any fire-making echo you have-to destroy the tombstone that has been covering up the entrance to the cave. The cave looks like it'd be a pretty straightforward section of world to explore at first glance. That is, until you inevitably stumble upon a strangely placed ghost eye switch that's behind a wall and seemingly inaccessible.

Well, just about nothing is in Graveyard Cave. This platformer has three levels connected; each level has different obstacles, opponents, and boulders to collect, throw, and smash. You can make out the blue ghost switch in the center back and to the right a locked door.


There isn't a hidden switch in the room, as one might suspect. It also doesn't seem that employing echoes capable of passing through a wall does anything, either. Neither bomb echo carries an explosive force large enough to activate the far-away switch. Then how can a person hit it?


You should have fought and heard two echoes in the other room. One of them is the Ghini echo, a ghost monster that can be killed and picked up like other monster echoes; the other is a Stuffed Bear, which isn't really useful unless you want to distract specific foes. This is literally the only capability that the Ghini echo has to phase through walls. However, spamming this on walls doesn't seem to do anything since the echo doesn't consider a wall an enemy and doesn't actually go and hit the ghost eye switch.


Instead, Zelda will lock onto the switch when you hold the ZL button down. To active the Ghini echo, hold the button down while it's locked on, then hit Y. Following that, the Ghini echo should go to the switch; pressing opens up the next area, where you will have to fight a huge Ghini boss. Defeating the huge Ghini and collecting his echo will allow you to proceed to the last room. In the chest is a Golden Egg.
