XDefiant characters face several unlocking issues. I certainly wouldn't call them the work of Hercules, but they can be a waste of time considering how often you die throwing firebombs or wearing a ghillie suit.

  • Consultation (Split): Kill 50 enemies with firebombs.
  • Green (The Division): Kill 50 enemies with the Incinerator Drone.
  • Beto (Far Cry): Restores 5000 health to allies with BioLife Boost.
  • Select (Far Cry): Heals allies for 5000 health with a potion.
  • Samir (Splinter Cell): Kill 100 enemies while wearing the Digital Ghillie Suit.
  • Rafa (Splinter Cell): Get 50 gears. Set in Intel suit.
  • Rhino (Ghost Recon): Kill 25 Blitz Shield enemies.
  • Gorgon (Ghost Recon): Blocks 10,000 damage with a magnetic barrier.

As you can see, these missions are easy to solve and you only need to equip the right character with the right equipment. If you follow the plan, unlocking any character should take no more than an hour of gameplay.

How to unlock the DedSec faction


The only faction that does not have a separate character challenge is DedSec. You can unlock the DedSec faction and character by earning 700,000 XP, which is easy to do just by playing the game. Win matches and complete daily challenges to earn more experience.
