How to Change XDefiant Server?

In this guide post, we focus on explaining you everything you need to know about How to Change XDefiant Servers.
As of today, June 21st, 2024, there is no official way to change your region in XDefiant.
The developers at Ubisoft have not yet implemented a feature for players to manually change their game region. This means that you are locked into the region you are playing in based on your current location.

Why can't you change region?

There are a few reasons why Ubisoft might have decided not to allow region switching:
Smooth Game Experience: By matching players with others in their region, Ubisoft can ensure better latency and a smoother game experience.
Game Integrity: Changing regions could be used to exploit the system, such as to gain a competitive advantage or avoid players from certain regions.
Still in Development: The region switching feature might be in development and not yet ready to be implemented.

How to Change XDefiant Servers?

While there is no official way to change your region, there are a few workarounds you can try:

VPN: You can use a VPN to route your internet traffic through a server in another region. This will make it appear as if you are playing from that region. However, VPNs can increase your latency and negatively affect your gaming experience.
Play with friends in other regions: If you have friends who live in other regions, you can create a new account in that region and play with them.

Is there hope for the future?

Ubisoft may implement a region-switching feature in the future. However, there hasn't been any official communication from the developers about their plans for this.

Please note that using workarounds to change your region might be against Ubisoft's terms of service. We recommend that you check the terms of service before using any workarounds.
