Welcome to our detailed and specific guide on Where Do the Red Footprints Lead in Witchfire.
In Witchfire, you'll be fighting first-person against the Witch's hordes of zombies, complete with creepy settings and music. Being a rogue-lite-similar to Souls-you also shouldn't expect an ounce of help from the living, and a pretty good one at that.
Your journeys will take you down a path of red tracks that seem to beg you to move further into the abyss. Should you follow them? Are these specters trying to give you a helping hand? Good questions. You wonder what these footprints mean, because Witchfire conceals many secrets and hidden treasures.
Where Do the Red Footprints Lead in Witchfire
Donate: buy me a coffeeOnce in Witchfire's Scarlet Coast, players will find a ghostly trail of red footprints. Their locations, unlike those of enemies and ammunition caches, are not marked on the map and happen completely at random. Proceed to explore the Scarlet Coast in Witchfire until a red glow, like in the image above, appears. It is the only way the following will be encountered.
Scarlet Coast will become available once the Island of the Damned has been cleared. Now, head back to the Island of the Damned for access to the Wailing Tower and clear it once Shieldbearer is mastered. Here's how it's done in Witchfire.
Most players new to Witchfire will probably run the other way, seeing as how a flashing red light usually equates to danger. Sometimes it doesn't. It will go out when you get near, leaving a trail of bloody footprints.
Now it is time to decide whether to follow the footprints or not. To find hidden treasure in Witchfire, one should follow the red footprints. So, do the former. Accursed objects like these will increase your Calamity just by picking them up. In Witchfire, use volatile crystals to clean the artifact or have a high Luck stat to avoid the danger.
An additional bar, labeled "Calamity," appears on the top left of the screen. If you mess up, it fills up with the Witch's eye. You can fight a swarm of monsters, twist with the skulls, or head back through the portal to the Hermitorium once you're full.
Going back to the Hermitorium, everything found there will get converted into gold that can be used to buy better weapons, spells, and goods. Witchfire also has a gold system where you can speed up your research. It's an essential in-game currency, of which one should farm hundreds. One of the best ways to farm Gold in Witchfire is by always following the red footprints.
Most of the time, the footprint tracks will bring you into hostile territory. Be constantly checking your map. Remember to put a waypoint of the footprints before going into any hazardous area. After beating all opponents follow the waypoint back onto the route.
In conclusion, knowing Where Do the Red Footprints Lead in Witchfire is interesting because it allows us to develop more in this incredible and moving game.
