Step 1: Initiating the Quest and Finding Long Wu

Your first objective is to locate the mysterious figure at the heart of this tale, Long Wu.
  • Travel to the General’s Shrine: Begin your journey by fast traveling to the General’s Shrine Boundary Stone. From this point, head directly north until you arrive at the shrine itself.
  • A Meeting on the Rooftops: Upon entering the shrine, don't forget to look up. Long Wu is not found on the main floor but is typically perched on the left-side section of the interior roof. Use your character's agility to leap up and initiate your first conversation with him.
    • Pro Tip: If Long Wu is not present during your initial visit, simply leave the area and return later. He will eventually appear.

    • Step 2: The Nocturnal Rendezvous

    After your initial discussion, Long Wu will request a second meeting under the cover of darkness.
  • Wait for the Hai Hour: You must meet him again after midnight, during the in-game "Hai" hour.
  • Manipulate Time: To avoid a long wait, open the Main Menu (default ESC key) and use the time-change feature in the upper-right corner. Advance the clock to 11:00 PM.
  • A Silent Guardian: Return to the wall of the General’s Shrine. You will find Long Wu waiting, but he will remain silent. This is your cue to proceed to the next location.

    • Step 3: Navigating the Hall of Seasons

    The quest now leads you to a more dangerous region, requiring stealth and agility.

  • Enter Moonveil Mountain: Make your way to the Moonveil Mountain area, specifically near the Palace of Annals.
  • Use the Boundary Stone: Activate the Front Mountain Boundary Stone to transport yourself to the entrance of the Hall of Seasons.
  • Beware the Ascent: The climb up the Hall of Seasons is fraught with danger. A vigilantWatchtower will relentlessly fire arrows at you as you ascend. Your best strategy is to avoid confrontation—dodge the projectiles and sprint upthe stairs as quickly as possible.
  • Face the Bandits: At the top of the first staircase, you will be ambushed by a group ofrobbers. You have a choice: draw your blade and defeat them or simplyevade their attacks and continue pressing forward.

    • Step 4: Revealing the Truth and the Next Target

    At the summit of the Hall of Seasons, the mystery begins to unravel.

  • Confront Long Wu: Climb the final set of stairs to find Long Wu waiting for you. Speak with him to continue your investigation.
  • Present the Key Item: When he asks for proof that can "uncover the truth," you must present him with the Buddha’s Light Jade – Yang. Handing over this artifact will trigger a crucial cutscene.
  • The Truth Unveiled: Long Wu will confess that he is an assassin who accepted a contract to eliminate Tian Ying, the killer implicated in the infamous Breeze Post affair.

    • With the truth exposed, the hunt is on. Long Wu will instruct you to meet him halfway up Jadebrook Mountain, located in the Sundara Land region, to pursue the final stage of TheSilent Assassin contract. Prepare yourself for the culmination of thisthrilling quest.
