How to unlock Obsidian camo in MW3 and Warzone
Prerequisites:
- Players must have previously unlocked the "One Trick" Prestige Camo, introduced in Modern Warfare 3 Season 3.
Unlock Criteria:
- Accumulate 200,000 Weapon XP with a desired weapon. Weapon XP is distinct from player XP and is earned through direct weapon usage in matches.
Availability:
- The Obsidian Camo will be available for acquisition at the commencement of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 4, scheduled for May 29th.
Compatibility:
- This Prestige Camo is functional across weaponry from both Modern Warfare 3 and Modern Warfare 2 arsenals.
Progression Tracking:
- Weapon-specific XP totals are independently tracked, enabling players to pursue multiple Obsidian Camo unlocks simultaneously.
Unique Feature:
- In contrast to the static Obsidian Camo of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), the iteration appearing in MW3 boasts an animated design, fulfilling a long-standing player request.
