Towers of Aghasba makes feeding animals an essential part of the game, not to mention a fun hobby. Players are let down since the survival-crafter doesn't provide clear instructions on where to find food or how to feed it to the animals.
Sprite, a green, doofy-looking seed creature you'll meet early in the game, gives you the mission of improving the environment around the Colossal Tree. In order to accomplish this, you must feed the creatures that you have likely already seen running in a ring around their brand new home. In a temperate setting, feeding many of these creatures will allow you to level up your King Tree.
How to feed animals
You might be worried that feeding these tiny critters will be difficult due to their speed. Fortunately, once you get the hang of it, it's actually rather simple.
What the Towers of Aghasba are and how creatures eat them
In Towers of Aghasba, below are the steps to feed animals:
- Use the spotting scope to study the creature up close.
- If you're using a controller, click the RS button; if you're using a mouse, press the scroll-wheel button.
- Use the Shimuscope to follow the animal.
- The preferred meal of an animal can be determined by keeping it in your sights for a while as the scope scans it.
- Gather the preferred food item of the animal.
- The Beetlepup and the Skirtau are just two of the many species in the game's opening section who enjoy eating the food that is available there. Berries are Skirtau's favorite food, while Root is Beetlepup's.
- You can find berries on nearby bushes, and you can use a Stone Hatchet to harvest root from trees. To make a Stone Hatchet, you'll need Fiber, Sticks, and Stone. You can find the crafting option in the game menu.
- To put the food into your inventory, choose the "Equip" option and click on it.
- Squat down while holding the object.
- Hit the C key on your PC or the LS button on your gamepad to crouch.
- Hit the right mouse button or the left trigger on the controller to get ready to toss the item.
- Toss the food with the left mouse button or the right trigger on the controller.
When you toss food, it will entice critters in the area. If you can't find any nearby, you may have to be patient and wait for a pair to pass by. Amity, the verdant energy that unites all living things, can be collected when a creature starts eating the food after some time has passed.
