One of the new items and weapons added to Holocure with the 0.7 Update is the stealthy Owl Dagger. Even if it's not hard to unlock the weapon, here's how to do it in Holocure: The Owl Dagger.

Owl Dagger: How to Unlock It and What It Can Do

A basic weapon in and of itself, the Owl Dagger slashes swiftly and repeatedly in front of your character. Collaborating it with the Psycho Axe (which increases its speed even further) or the EN's Curse (which turns it into a mass damage-over-time effect) is where things get interesting. Its speed makes it a potential useful tool for characters that deal damage through status effects.

You may see the Owl Dagger's unlock criteria next to its emblem in the Holocure achievements menu, albeit the name is obscured. The goal is straightforward: complete Stage 5 of Holocure, the last boss on Fantasy Island. In Stage Mode, you must endure for 20 minutes before the boss appears; the difficulty of this task varies with the amount of cash and skills you have collected during the game.

Priorities include health and other forms of survivability, followed closely by movement and damage boosts. While some alternative difficulties, like fewer adversaries or fewer weapons, can be helpful, others, like special attacks or the abilities of newly added equipment, are best disabled. As a last piece of advice, go with a character you're already familiar with, but preferably one that has a ton of fandom levels and gacha duplicate perks.

Strategies for Conquering Fantasy Island, Level 5 of Holocure

A good beginning is essential for any Survivors-like. The monsters will only become harder from here, so don't waste time killing the first few. Instead, focus on upgrading your main weapon or powerful damaging skills. If your damage isn't up to par, you'll be too busy fleeing to collect any experience you do gain, so you'll want to master the art of eliminating adversaries fast.

Stage 5 is most like Stage 2 of Holocure; both levels are long and rectangular, however Stage 5 is vertically laid out instead of horizontally. Run carefully as you sprint up and down the screen; huge guns mounted on ships on opposite sides will fire as you approach, distracting you from your goal of evading other adversaries. Be wary of the explosive Nousagis (rabbits) and the Ichimi (pirates) armed with handguns; the latter have a ranged attack, so it's best to be prepared. On the other hand, the most significant challenge is the level's exceptionally challenging and time-consuming enemies.

The mid-boss will appear after 10 minutes. Considering how easily kiteable their powers are, this one isn't terrible. You can strafe around the boss to escape its most devastating attack—a jet of flames shooting out of its mouth—but it deals a lot of damage fast if it hits. While doing this, be careful not to run into the ship's cannons.

At the 20-minute mark, Holocure's last boss of Stage 5 spawns, and this version is significantly more agile. Its ranged strike locks onto you and charges quickly, but the blast travels at a slow enough pace that you can evade it if you stay far away. Additionally, it will unleash a barrage of missiles in clusters, which is both visually confusing and technically challenging because the missiles will often fire in all directions rather than straight at you. Remain calm and keep out of their rather modest explosion radius; they are inclined to pounce on panicked players. Due to its remarkable mobility, the boss is best dealt with using weapons with a long range or damage-over-time effect. We have also had little success in slowing or stunning it using the Freeze and Pacifist stamps. If that fails, weapons with a wide area of effect or no targeting are helpful so you can focus on staying alive rather than attacking the boss. Killing Pekodam will get you the Owl Dagger in Holocure.
