The world of Titan Quest 2 is fraught with peril, with creatures like spiders, crabs, skeletons, and the formidable Nemesis waiting to challenge you. During the first act, the Ichthians pose a particularly persistent threat, terrorizing the village of Pyrgos and taking its residents captive. Your quest to save these villagers leads you to the labyrinthine depths of Fiend’s Hollow, where a mysterious locked door and a cryptic puzzle stand in your way.This guide will demystify the brazier puzzle and show you the exact steps needed to unlock the path forward.

A Guide to Solving the Brazier Puzzle in Titan Quest 2

Unlocking the Secret of the Braziers

Upon reaching the locked door, you'll be greeted by a brazier altar.Interacting with the door provides a clue: “You imagine yourselflighting a lone brazier. Then a pair of braziers. Then a trio. Then thethought fades.”

This clue is designed to be misleading. It's easyto assume you need to manipulate the brazier in front of you in aspecific sequence. However, the solution requires you to find and lightthree separate brazier altars hidden throughout the cave, eachcorresponding to a part of the clue: a solo, a duo, and a trio.

To solve the puzzle, follow these steps in the correct order:

• Find the Lone Brazier: From the locked door, travel towards the eastern side of the cave. There, you'll discover a single, lone brazier. Light it to begin the sequence.
• Locate the Pair: After lighting the first brazier, head south, navigating the circularpaths of the cavern. As you round the bend to the southwest, you willfind a second altar, this time featuring a pair of braziers. Light this one.
• Light the Trio: Finally, return to the locked door. The altar directly in front of you, with its trio of braziers, is the final piece of the puzzle. Lighting this one will activate themechanism and open the gate, allowing you to continue your mission.

By lighting the braziers in the correct order—the single, then the pair,and finally the trio—you will solve the riddle and gain access to therest of Fiend's Hollow to rescue the villagers.
