Rainbow Animals & Rarities Explained

In Tiny Pasture, rarity is a core mechanic. The rarity of a critter is determined at spawning, either through breeding or store purchases. This rarity affects how quickly they earn money. The five rarity levels are:

• Common (one star)
• Uncommon (two stars)
• Rare (three stars)
• Very Rare (four stars)
• Rainbow (five stars)

Higher rarity levels mean higher earnings, with rainbow animals having uncapped earnings potential.

How to Identify an Animal's Rarity

• Colored Outline: Each rarity has a distinct color (gray, blue, yellow, red, rainbow) visible around the animal in the pasture.
• Stars on Details Card: Rarity is shown as stars when the animal is spawned.
• Detailed View: Click on the pasture icon (bottom left), then on the animal to see its rarity.

How to Get Rainbow Animals

Rainbow animals can be obtained through breeding or buying.Although the base chance for a rainbow animal to appear is small, hereare tips to increase your odds:

• Breeding: Breed two rainbow-quality animals together to almost guarantee arainbow offspring. Select a random color for a chance to record a newrainbow type in your log. Note that breeding causes the parents to leave the pasture.
• Group Buy Function: Use this to target high rarities.

Steps to Group Buy:

Go to the store menu.

Select the animal you wish to buy.

Choose the "Buy Multiple" option.

Select the maximum star level and click "Buy 10 times" or "Continue Buying."

This process will continue until the cap of 10 is reached, funds aredepleted, or the desired rarity is achieved. Save a large amount ofcoins before attempting to roll a rainbow animal due to the cost.
