By either of these icons, a time wheel will appear on the screen: the upper half of the wheel corresponds to daylight hours; the lower half represents nighttime. Simply rotate the wheel to your desired time.
A Note on Time Discrepancy:
While you drag the time wheel, you may observe that there is a slight lag between where the wheel is positioned and where in-game the lighting actually is. This lag is indicated by a darker cursor that follows your selected time on the wheel. The presence of this little lag allows the transition in the lighting effects to be smooth.
Locking the Sun's Position:
For specific situations, where the light has to be precisely the same, you can click the lock icon beside the time wheel. This icon will freeze the sun in one position and not allow it to continue its travel.
