How to Access Throne and Liberty Auction House

You need to be level 40 before the Auction House unlocks. It's entirely optional for late game, so as a new player starting Throne and Liberty, you won't need it. The best thing you can do is improve your equipment by running dungeons such as Specter's Abyss and progress the Adventure Codex. If this goes well, you may not need to spend cash on frivolous items.

How to use the Auction House in Throne and Liberty

The Auction House is accessible once one reaches level 40 and then accesses the escape menu. Lucent, which happens to be a premium kind of currency in Throne and Liberty, may be used for trading at the Auction House. Lucent can be obtained either by selling items of value or through purchasing with cash.

To make Auction House purchases:

Open Auction Dome
Select the proper group
Take your pick (Extracts are not weapons).
Highlight an offering for the product of interest to you.
Check the price before you buy.

Placing Up

Lucent can also be acquired by selling goods through the Auction House. By default, however, all but a few items cannot be sold. All of the items you create can be crafted with Great Success - this enables them to be sold. Alternatively you can sell in the Auction House Litographs you created, or qualities you extracted.

To consign goods to the Auction House:

Open the Auction Dome
Go to the Sell icon. Select what you want to sell. Put in the quantity and add to stock.

There's some tax that goes with whatever profit is gained. The total tax taken from the castle merchant is made up of two components: base at 20% plus the prevailing tax rate of the castle. Assuming the current tax in the castle is 22%, an item sold for 120 Lucent will bring you 93 Lucent.
