How to get to Saurodoma Island Waypoint

1. Timing the Gigantrite


  • Check the schedule near the minimap to determine when the next Gigantrite will appear.
  • The best time to jump on is at the Starlight Observatory Ruins.

2. Reaching the Observatory


  • Teleport to the Starlight Observatory Waypoint.
  • Use the grapple to climb up the ruins.

3. Waiting for the Gigantrite


  • Gigantrite arrives in 3 to 5 minutes; it may take longer depending on the situation, though.

4. Getting onto the Gigantrite


  • Jump onto the Gigantrite when it is near you.

5. Arriving at Saurodoma Island


  • Travel time is roughly 10 minutes.
  • Mine ore and do the quest "Little Friend in the Sky" during the journey.

6. Locating the Waypoint


  • This Waypoint is located on a big stone pillar on the north side of the island.

7. Jumping Off and Gliding


  • When the waypoint is in reach, jump off the Gigantrite and glide towards the Waypoint.

If the Gigantrite does not follow the path shown here: You'll be waiting for the next Gigantrite event to take place.

Alternative Method (if Ruler of Lycan Milestone is complete):

  • Daybreak Shore Waypoint.
  • Swim to the pier.
  •  Stop on the small island halfway through to regain stamina.

Important Note: Sometimes the path which the Gigantrite will take is unpredictable so patience is key.

Additional Tips:


  • If having trouble reaching the way-point, try dismounting off the Gigantrite a bit earlier in your jump.
  • The Glider can be used to fly around the island to access other areas of it.
  • There are several hidden chests and other items around Saurodoma Island.
