How to Unlock the Zoologist in Terraria?

To invite the Zoologist, you need to have an empty house and at least 54 entries in your Bestiary. These requirements are standard for most NPCs, but the Bestiary requirement of 54 total entries is specific to the Zoologist. However, this number of entries is easier to attain than it appears. The Bestiary doesn't just collect enemies defeated, but also critters, NPCs, and Bosses - and you don't need to fill the kill bar for each entry, just having it unlocked is enough.
