How to get Battle Potions in Terraria. Learn how to obtain the powerful elixirs in order to gain an edge in a fight.


If you’re a Terraria player, you’ve probably heard of Battle Potions. These powerful elixirs can give you an edge in a fight, but they are not easily obtained. Crafting Battle Potions requires you to gather the necessary components, which include Bottled Water, Deathweed, Rotten Chunk, and Vertebra. In this article, we’ll discuss the steps to craft a Battle Potion and the benefits of having one in your arsenal.

Materials Needed


In order to craft a Battle Potion, you’ll need the following materials: Bottled Water, Deathweed, Rotten Chunk or Vertebra. Bottled Water can be obtained by filling an Empty Bottle with any water source or sink. Deathweed can be found in Corrupt or Crimson Grasses, and Ebonstone or Crimstone, respectively. During a Blood Moon or a Full Moon, Deathweed can also be harvested. Rotten Chunk or Vertebra can be obtained by killing Eaters of Souls, Devourers, Corruptors, the Eater of Worlds, Crimeras, Blood Crawlers, Face Monsters, or the Floaty Gross. Unfortunately, Battle Potions cannot be found in chests nor sold by NPCs, so stock up on the necessary ingredients and start crafting!

The first step is to place a Bottle or an Alchemy Table. Bottles can be found in Dungeon Chests, while Alchemy Tables are crafted at a Workbench. Once you have your Bottle or Alchemy Table in place, it’s time to gather the necessary ingredients. 

For Bottled Water, simply fill an Empty Bottle with any water source or sink. Deathweed can be found in Corrupt or Crimson Grasses and Ebonstone or Crimstone, respectively. It can also be harvested during a Blood Moon or a Full Moon.
