Nora presents Daisy with the following riddle:“In the eye of the lake, there stands a tree, and in its roots, you’ll find what you seek.”
At first glance, this seems vague—after all, the Shire has many lakes and trees. However, the key detail is the “eye of the lake”, which hints at a body of water shaped like an eye when viewed on the map.

Locating the Eye of the Lake

After exploring the Shire’s vast landscape, you’ll find the correct lake in the southern region, near the Cotton family’s home. Here’s how to identify it:

• The lake is oval-shaped with a small island in the center.
• On the map, the island resembles a pupil, making the surrounding water the "iris."
• A stone bridge leads to the island, where a lone tree stands.

Note: There’s another lake in the north that slightly fits the description, but the southern lake is the correct one for this quest.

Solving the Quest

Once you’ve reached the right lake, follow these steps:

Cross the stone bridge to the small island.

Approach the tree in the center—you’ll see shimmering white sparkles near its roots.

Interact with the sparkles to summon Daisy and confirm the discovery.

That’s all it takes! The quest completes as soon as Daisy acknowledges the location.
