Farming is the foundation of your success in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar. While Mayor Felix gives you a small handful of seeds to get started, you will quickly need to find a sustainable way to acquire more. This guide will walk you through the process of obtaining new seeds and provide a detailed walkthrough on how to grow them into a thriving farm.

SoS Grand Bazaar: How To Find and Grow Seeds

Phase 1: Obtaining Seeds

Once you have used your initial seeds, you have a few primary methods for acquiring more.

1. Purchasing Seeds from Miguel

The most reliable way to get a consistent supply of seeds is to purchase them from Miguel's Mercantile Shop. Miguel is a traveling merchant who sells a variety of items, including seasonal seeds.

• In Town: You can find Miguel in town on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 9:59 PM. His shop is a great place to stock up on basic seeds.
• At the Bazaar: On Saturdays, he sets up a stall at the bazaar from 10:00 AM to 6:59 PM. His bazaar inventory will expand as your Bazaar Rank increases, offering a wider variety of seeds throughout the game.

2. Completing Quests and Titles

Interacting with the citizens of Zephyr Town will often lead torequests and missions. Completing these quests, as well as variousin-game achievements, can reward you with seeds. While this method isless predictable than buying them, it is a great way to get a freesupply early on.

3. Using the Blue Windmill

This is the most advanced and powerful method for obtaining seeds. After you unlock the Blue Windmill and gain access to it, you can process your harvested crops into new seeds.

• The Process: By placing a crop into the windmill, it will be processed into a new bag of seeds.
• Key Advantage: The seeds you create will have the same quality (star rating) as thecrop you processed. This is essential for serious farmers who want toincrease the quality of their produce to earn more money at the bazaar.For example, by processing a 5-star cabbage, you will get 5-star cabbage seeds, which will grow into more high-quality crops.

Phase 2: Growing Your Crops

Once you have your seeds, you can begin the process of planting andcultivating your crops. You will need two essential tools for this: the Hoe and the Watering Can, both of which are given to you by the mayor.

• Till the Soil: Go to your farm area and use the Hoe on a plot of land. This will prepare the soil for planting.
• Plant Seeds: Go to your inventory and select a bag of seeds. Stand over the tilled soil and plant the seeds.
• Water Your Crops: Using the Watering Can, water your newly planted seeds. For optimal growth, it is recommendedto water your crops twice a day: once in the morning and once in theevening. This will speed up their growth cycle significantly. You canrefill your can at the nearby water source on your farm.
• Harvest: After a few days, your crops will mature. You can then harvest them tosell at the weekly bazaar or use them for cooking and processing.
