In Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, the weekly market is your primary source of income, and windmills are the key to maximizing your profits. These handy pieces of equipment allow you to transform raw materials from your farm into more valuable artisan goods. As you progress through the game and revitalize the town, you will unlock a total of three different windmills, each with its own unique set of recipes.This guide will walk you through the process of unlocking the Red, Blue, and Yellow windmills and explain what each one can do for your farming business.

Red Windmill: Your First Step to Profit

The Red Windmill is the first one you will unlock and is an essential tool for any aspiring farmer. It is located directly on your farm, making it convenient to use on a daily basis.

• How to Unlock: The Red Windmill becomes available on Spring 6 of Year 1. On this day, Isaac will visit your farm and issue a request titled "Windmill Materials."
• Requirements: To complete the quest, you must provide Isaac with the following materials:
  • Stone: 10
  • Wood: 10
• What it Crafts: Once unlocked, the Red Windmill allows you to craft a wide range of basic goods, including fertilizer from weeds, mayonnaise from eggs, and upgrades for your farm tools (such as Copper and Silver variants of your hoe, watering can, etc.). This windmill is the foundation of your crafting operation.

Blue Windmill: Turning Quality into Profit

The Blue Windmill is your next step in becoming a master crafter andrequires a bit more effort to unlock. It introduces more advancedrecipes that can turn high-quality ingredients into even more valuableproducts.

• How to Unlock: The Blue Windmill is located in Zephyr Town, and Isaac will not offer the mission to repair it until you have reached Bazaar Rank 3. After you hit this rank, Isaac will give you a quest titled "Seen Anything Lying Around."
• Requirements: For this quest, Isaac has lost a tool he needs to fix the windmill. You must go to the Bazaar area and find it. Look near a bench to the leftof the main plaza, where you will find a small, glowing item. Pick it up and return it to Isaac to unlock the windmill.
• What it Crafts: The Blue Windmill is a game-changer. It allows you to create Sturdy materials (by combining five of the normal version of an item), which arerequired for later upgrades. Most importantly, this windmill lets youprocess crops to create seeds of a higher quality, a crucial step for improving your farm's overall output.

Yellow Windmill: The Ultimate Artisan Station

The Yellow Windmill is the final and most advanced windmill you can unlock in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar. It is located in the Waterfall area and is reserved for the most profitable and complex recipes.

• How to Unlock: To unlock this final windmill, you must first reach Bazaar Rank 4. Once you achieve this rank, Isaac will give you a new request called "Working Windmills."
• Requirements: Unlike the previous quests, you don't need to gather new materials.Instead, Isaac wants to see if you've been using your existingwindmills. You must have already crafted a total of 100 items between your Red and Blue windmills. After you meet this milestone, return to Isaac to complete the mission.
• What it Crafts: The Yellow Windmill provides access to the game’s most lucrative recipes. This is where you can turn wheat into flour, flowers into perfume, and various crops into pickled items. These high-value goods will fetch a hefty price at the bazaar, helping you achieve the highest possible bazaar ranks.
