Unlike regular fish, which can be placed directly in ponds to produce roe, Legendary Roe requires a Legendary Fish.
Catch a Legendary Fish: You must first catch one of the five Legendary Fish in Stardew Valley. Each has unique requirements and locations (detailed below).
