How to Get the Golden Pumpkin in Stardew Valley:

There are a few ways to obtain this rare item:

• The Haunted Maze (Spirit's Eve): Traditionally, the Golden Pumpkin was found at the end of the Haunted Maze during the Spirit's Eve festival (on Fall 27th). However, with the 1.6 update, this method has changed slightly. Now, you can only get a Golden Pumpkin from the hidden chest at the end of the maze once every two years. In other years, completing the Haunted Maze will reward you with a Prize Ticket.
• Artifact Troves: Golden Pumpkins have a chance to be found when opening Artifact Troves. These containers, filled with rare items, need to be cracked open at the Blacksmith's, similar to geodes. You can acquire Artifact Troves through various means:
  • Purchasing them from the Desert Trader for 5 Omni Geodes.
  • As a potential drop from Haunted Skulls in the Skull Cavern.
  • Found in supply crates on the Beach Farm (introduced in the 1.5 update).
  • Dug up from Artifact Spots (the wiggly worms).
• Mystery Boxes and Golden Mystery Boxes: Once you reach level 50 and obtain your second Prize Ticket (from the Haunted Maze in an "off" year), you'll have a chance to find Mystery Boxes and their rarer Golden variants through various activities:
  • Opening Fishing Chests.
  • Breaking containers.
  • Chopping and shaking trees.
  • Panning for treasure.
  • Golden Mystery Boxes have a higher chance of containing rarer items, including the Golden Pumpkin. Both types of Mystery Boxes need to be taken to Clint the Blacksmith to be opened.

• Selling for Profit: If you're in need of quick cash, the Golden Pumpkin can be sold for a substantial 2,500 gold.
• Tailoring a Witch Hat: The most unique use for the Golden Pumpkin is in tailoring. By combining one Golden Pumpkin with one piece of Cloth at Emily's sewing machine, you can create a Witch Hat.

How to Unlock Tailoring:

To tailor items in Stardew Valley, you first need to obtain at least one piece of Cloth. There are several ways to get Cloth:

• Recycling Wet Newspaper in a Recycling Machine.
• Shearing sheep after befriending them.
• Occasionally dropped by Mummies in the Skull Cavern.
• Purchased from Emily after completing certain quests.

The morning after you obtain your first piece of Cloth, Emily will visit your farm and offer to let you use the sewing machine in her house.
