Lost Sandcrawler is a covert operation quest in Star Wars Outlaws, located in Mos Algo, Tatooine. During this quest, you shall be tasked with fetching two priceless artifacts from within an abandoned mine. This quest can only be accessed when you finally discover the mine entrance and find the hidden tunnel that leads down to the underground area.
There's no hinting system that's going to help point in the right direction, making an already tough side mission even tougher. And if it happens to be hidden behind a secret wall, then there's a pretty good chance a number of players never saw it. As a matter of fact, it's going to take a lot of good fortune or an extensive Star Wars Outlaws guide pointing out precisely where to search for both chests on the first attempt.

Get ready for an exciting adventure across the open landscape of Mos Algo in search of a Sandcrawler that has disappeared into the dunes of sand. As you make your way across the rough landscape, keep your eyes peeled for clues that might be hidden in your path or come along with unexpected hindrances. Hence, this is the best quest as far as thrill and reward for the adventurers go, which will yield two very valuable treasures because of the efforts an adventurer puts into it.
You activate the Lost Sandcrawler intelligence mission when you enter the abandoned mine in Mos Algo. To initiate the Lost Sandcrawler mission, blast the boulders at the far end of the cave and through the boulders blocking the entrance of the mine. (Back during the Defector mission you and Ays were ambushed here.
How to Find Lost Sandcrawler Treasures in Star Wars Outlaws?
- Enter the abandoned mine in Mos Algo.
- Now shoot the boulder at the cave exit, which is hiding the secret passage.
- Proceed further along the parkour path, passing two places where you could have attached a grappling hook.
- Shoot the right boulder to access your first Lost Sandcrawler treasure.
In the abandoned mine, there is a parkour path leading down toward the bottom. As you make your way through the first two grappling hooks, you'll notice a boulder blocking off a small path. Shoot it to clear said path for the first Lost Sandcrawler treasure.
- There are some grappling hook points around the mine, but the initial loot is at the first set of hooks. You can see these as you first come into the abandoned mine.
- Approach to Retrieving the Second Stolen Sandcrawler Treasure
- A bit later in the game, you will end up being taken further in the mine to an abandoned facility.
- Shoot the electric receivers in this area to open the doors. -Then later, you will have to ask Nix to pull the lever.
- Use your Blaster to explode the broken floor in the last room.
- Head down stairs to find the abandoned Sandcrawler.
To find the second lost treasure case look down stairs from where the Sandcrawler was.
As you keep following the mine's parkour path you will cross an abandoned structure with one door closed. The second loot is behind that door. Look through a gap in the wall and shoot the receiver on the far side to open it. Then, at the second door, have Nix open the shutter of the next room over and shoot through to hit the receiver inside. Finally, head down into the hidden room by shooting explosive bullets into the cracks in the floor.
The second Lost Sandcrawler treasure is buried beneath the long-lost Sandcrawler. You'll find the tank-like Sandcrawler in the hidden area. To locate the treasure chest, have a look behind the rollers, wheels that move along the bottom of the machine.
Using the Turbolifter near the Sandcrawler will yield an exit from the abandoned mine. There is another exit, located behind the vehicle, if that one isn't to your liking.
