The key to getting past the fan is to obtain a new ability that will allow you to bypass it. This ability is called Dash, and it can be found in Chapter 4.1: The Hidden Path.

Obtaining the Dash Ability



To obtain the Dash ability, players must first make their way to the Singing Ruins location. This is a challenging area filled with enemies and obstacles, so be prepared for a tough fight.


Once you've reached the Singing Ruins, you'll need to navigate through the area and defeat any enemies that stand in your way. Eventually, you'll come across a room with a series of platforms and a glowing orb in the center.


To obtain the Dash ability, you'll need to use your Force powers to move the orb onto each platform in the correct order. This can be a bit tricky, but with some patience and persistence, you should be able to figure it out.


Once you've successfully moved the orb onto each platform, a door will open, revealing the Dash ability. This powerful skill allows you to run quickly and dodge obstacles, making it the perfect tool for getting past the fan in the Bygone Settlement.

Getting Past the Fan


With the Dash ability in hand, it's time to take on the fan. To get past it, follow these steps:

  • 1. Approach the fan and wait for it to start spinning.
  • 2. When the fan begins to slow down, use your Dash ability to quickly run through the opening.
  • 3. Continue running until you reach the other side of the room.

It's important to time your dash correctly, as the fan will start spinning again very quickly. If you mistime your dash, you'll be knocked back and have to start over.


Additionally, be on the lookout for any enemies or obstacles that may appear in your path. The Bygone Settlement is a dangerous place, and you'll need to be quick on your feet to survive.
