Any survival game will require players to craft tools and buildings, but in Soulmask you can also enlist the help of loyal tribe members to quickly clear out your base. Tribe members can be unlocked fairly quickly to use the Soul Mask, and while they can serve as loyal companions, their true potential lies in their job level. Tribe members can take on a variety of professions and quests, and NPC allies are surprisingly self-sufficient, meaning you can automate tasks as you adventure and explore.

How to Assign Jobs to TribesMen in Soulmask?

The first member of your tribe will approach you when you light the first big fire. Campfires become available after completing the first few quests, appearing in the on-screen tutorial and acting as impromptu tutorials. Once the fire is lit, they will approach you and ask you to join them.

To assign jobs or tasks to your clan members, press I to open the clan menu. In this menu, you can view, customize, and assign tasks to all of your clan members. In the guild member panel, you'll see several different icons representing various traits and backgrounds that influence their behavior. You can also see how their skills improve over time as they complete tasks. In the tribe member panel, click the hammer and anvil icon in the top row to open the job postings page.

Here, you can set a priority list of tasks that need to be completed. Here are some tasks you can assign to your tribe members:

Wild Collection - Send them out to cut, harvest, or mine at a specific location. You'll need to organize storage for your tribe members. When their tools break, they can get new ones from storage if you put them there, or you can open your inventory, move the tools to your inventory to repair them, and then that returns them.
Auto-Start Crafting Table - Tribe members at the crafting table will begin crafting items there once they are added to the queue. Farm Management - After building the barn and determining the type of crop to grow, tribe members will automatically plant, manage, and harvest the crop.
Camp Maintenance - A tribe member automatically repairs damaged buildings and recharges fire and other lights. These and other tasks can be added to the list, with tasks at the top of the list having higher priority. Tribe members will only be able to complete lower-level quests once higher-level quests have been completed or if they are unable to continue.

Assigning jobs to tribe members in Soulmask will distribute the game's professions in a more equitable manner.
