This time we return with a guide with the objective of explaining to you How to Get an S-Rank in Sonic X Shadow Generations.
When you reach the goal ring or goal plate in Sonic X Shadow Generations, you'll receive a grade that marks your progress through each stage. As you progress through the rankings, you'll need to complete levels at a faster and more efficient pace. In Sonic Generations, you can get the highest possible grade by clearing the stage without losing a single life. The S-Rank is the highest achievable rank.
Fast reflexes and solid platforming are essential for completing levels quickly and efficiently in Sonic X Shadow Generations and earning S-Ranks. In this walkthrough, we'll go over the many storylines in the game and how to obtain an S-Rank in each one.
How to Get an S-Rank in Sonic X Shadow Generations
Donate: buy me a coffeeThe requirement to survive through a whole level is removed in Shadow Generations, making it slightly easier to earn an S-Rank compared to Sonic Generations. Squeezing into the goal ring before the stage ends is your sole objective. To maximize your speed on any particular level, it's best to avoid lower paths and instead stick to higher ones, even if they're harder to reach.
It will be much easier to get an S-Rank if you master Shadow's Chaos Control and Doom Powers to stop the timer and improve your stage navigation. You can speed through areas of the stage at great speed using green Chaos Control pathways when you see them.
Using Chaos Control causes time to stand still, making these routes more faster to traverse than others. For each stage, Shadow can unlock a different rank depending on whether or not Doom Wing is active. This is because, with Doom Wing enabled, you can fly over or take shortcuts through sections of the stage that would normally be unreachable, making them significantly quicker.
Since both Sonics lose their S-Rank if they die in-game, obtaining them is a bit more of a challenge than it is for Shadow. Because of this, you'll have to be lightning quick and accurate with your platforming, taking care not to make any careless or fatal errors. Sonic, similar to Shadow, can speed through courses by taking the high road whenever he can. This is because, like Shadow's stages, Sonic's stages often contain speedier pathways higher up.
Even while Sonic doesn't have Chaos Control, he can equip a wide variety of skills that change his abilities. Thanks to his excellent athleticism, he will be able to traverse water and hills with relative ease. Using Power Brake, he can stop considerably faster, even when going at maximum speed. This makes it easier for him to manage precision platforming and less likely that he will go off a cliff.
So we come to the end of this explanatory guide, now you know How to Get an S-Rank in Sonic X Shadow Generations, just do it and enjoy it to the fullest.
