Revenge of the Savage Planet: Scan the Proper Acid-Filled Critter

To locate and scan the Proper Acid-Filled Critter on Quasadron IX, you'll need to venture to a specific area near Savannah Lake and be prepared for a slippery welcome:

How to Find and Scan the Proper Acid-Filled Critter:

Travel to Savannah Lake (Quasadron IX): Use your base ship's teleporter to travel to the Savannah Lake biome on the planet Quasadron IX.

Turn Left and Look for Rock Structures: Upon teleporting to Savannah Lake, turn left. You should see several high rock structures clustered together, forming a somewhat enclosed area.

Ascend a Rock Structure: Jump onto one of these higher rock formations to gain a better vantage point.

Spot the Purple Patch: From your elevated position, look down between the rocks. You should notice a large purple patch on the ground within this enclosed space.

Stomp Down: Use your full jump force (likely involving the Stomp ability if you have it unlocked) to jump down onto the purple patch.

Reveal the Hidden Area: Landing on the purple patch will cause the surface to break away,revealing the mission objective area below and the Proper Acid-FilledCritter. However, you won't be able to scan it immediately.

Surrounded by Alpha Sluggators: Upon landing in the hidden area, you'll be immediately surrounded by Alpha Sluggators. These are described as "sisters of Floridaman" and have the unpleasant habit of spitting bile buildup at you.

Combat the Alpha Sluggators: Engage the Alpha Sluggators. Their weak spot is located at the top of their heads. Aim your attacks there to defeat them. You can also stagger and lasso them with your Proton Whip for later research if you desire.

Scan the Proper Acid-Filled Critter: Once you have dealt with the surrounding Alpha Sluggators, the Proper Acid-Filled Critter will be simply standing in front of you, ready to be scanned with your scanner.
