Where to find Guardian Keys in Planet Crafter


Somewhere around the insect terraforming stage, we are allowed to receive a transmission from Riley asking us to go to coordinates -248:42:93. We can see our current coordinates in the bottom corner, on the left side of the HUD, and if we go to the indicated location, we will find ourselves in the Meteor Field looking at one of the entrances to the Mushroom River cavern. One of the quickest ways to get there from the standard starting location is through the Iridium-Osmium Cave in the Broken Spiers region. We will also see a white landmark that will lead us to the first of the guardian keys inside the cave. If this waypoint is not activated for some reason, the Guardian Key is just below the largest mushroom at coordinates - 217:-45:490.

The Guardian's Key sits on a pedestal, and another set of coordinates is written on it: -464:-40:97. These point to another location in the Mushroom River where we should find the Guardian's Altar. By placing the key on the altar, a nearby door will open. Upon passing through the door, we enter a room full of pillars. There are stone tablets with messages on the left and right sides of the room, as well as two exits on the back wall. The right exit has something notable at the end, while the left exit has a new Guardian Key with a new set of coordinates: 964:68:1744.

It is important to consider that the jetpack does not work inside the Warden ruins, and it is impossible to create machines or buildings in most of these places, this means that it is better to leave the crafting materials outside and get a supply of air, water and food before perform the exploration.


Where to find The Keys of the Guardian of the Ancient City in Planet Crafter?


The newest set of coordinates takes us to the superalloy cave near the Highlands biome, to the strange door in the back. Placing the guardian key of the first ruin here will open the door to a tunnel that will take us to the depths of the underground. Here, we will take the first left to find the first guardian key of the new ruin. This pedestal does not have coordinates, this is only because we need to find three keys for the next altar. The right path crosses a bridge and comes to a huge open space with a second Guardian Key in the center.

At this point, we must enter the building on the left and proceed to take the left exit from the first room. Next, enter a room with a wooden ramp that goes up, and at the top we will see two more ramps, one takes us to another message and the other, to a golden box. Once we are outside, we will go to the building on the right and use the wooden stairs and ramps to climb to the roof. From there, a wooden walkway will take us to a fork, the right hallway has a fascinating view at the end, and the left hallway goes up to a spire with a message inside. On the other side of the needle, there is another wooden walkway that will take us to the roof of the building on the left.

The third guardian key and the last set of coordinates (1565:109:2500) are located on this roof, it is necessary to be careful on the walkways, this because the jetpack will not cushion falls, but jumping from the location of the last key will not cause damage from falling, a favorable point.


Where to find the keys to the guardian of the lost paradise in Planet Crafter?


The last of the Warden ruins is located at the northern end of the Highlands, and we may have seen the altar that opens the way, if we have managed to explore the area thoroughly, once we insert the three keys, a huge piece of stone wall to the north. We can explore the first two ruins at the beginning of The Planet Crafter, but a large block of ice usually blocks the entrance to the third ruin and only melts at 2 GTi. This milestone is all about when Riley's message arrives, so we need to be ready if that's what started our exploration.

The ruin is worth waiting for, upon reaching it we get the achievement "Ancient Paradise" and it lives up to its name. Larvae of the Serena butterfly are shown here at random, and some larvae of the golden butterfly are found within the inner sanctum of the ruins. Likewise, we can build freely in the Ancient Paradise, although the jetpack still does not work, we only have one last obstacle left and that is that we need five more keys to open the door to the inner sanctum. We won't have to go far, because they are scattered throughout the ruin, and to find them we must follow these steps:


  • We will go down the stairs from the Guardian's Altar, go straight through the monolith and find the first key next to the stream.
  • We stand next to the monolith and look to the left of the stairs to see the second key on the lowest level, near a wooden ramp.
  • Next, we look to the right of the stairs to find another wooden ramp, this makes it necessary to go up to the second level to look in the far corner to get the third key.
  • We will pass the third key and turn another corner to see another wooden ramp that takes us to a much higher level, we walk along this level to climb a wooden ramp, and we will go up a vine to reach a place just above the water wheel where we will get the fourth key.
  • We return to the monolith to look directly to the east, here another set of ramps awaits us and ends next to the blue dome where we locate the fifth key.

Now, once we have placed the five keys of the guardian on the altar, the door to the inner sanctuary will open, we will see that at the end of the tunnel there is a beautiful dome full of butterflies and trees with one more message from the Guardians, in addition to two golden chests with many goodies.


Where to find the cenote ruin?

We will be located to the west of the Meteor Crater biome where there is a huge sinkhole full of water, something called a cenote (seh-NO-tay), this is a giant ice plug that will prevent us from descending. However, this plug begins to melt when the planet reaches 32 GTi. Once the ice melts, we can descend a natural ramp to reach the water, or we can jump down. Whatever option is valid, then, we look west once we reach the water to find a tunnel that is hidden behind some vines, we will reach the end of the cave to discover a second completely submerged sinkhole. Before we continue, we need to make sure we have at least one oxygen capsule with us, here we may have reached the breathable atmosphere stage when we reach 32 GTi, but our oxygen bar still runs out when we are underwater.

It should be noted that exploring the tunnels will take time, longer than a T4 oxygen tank can handle, there are two tunnels at the base of the underwater sinkhole. One located in the south that contains a golden box and another in the north that leads to a flooded terraformer platform, we can explore the platform to find resources and a message, we just have to make sure to keep track of its oxygen.

We will proceed north from the platform to find a small Warden Ruin surrounded by Osmium. It should be noted that here we can extract osmium, but we can read the tablet. We will go further north to find a giant staircase and, finally, we will come out of the water again, in the center of the cenote ruins, we will get one last tablet, as well as a small golden box with a special blueprint. If we decode this blueprint, we can create the Warden Key Finder at the Advanced Crafting Station. However, we need the rare Solar Quartz to do so, this makes it necessary to equip the detector to discover the last 10 Guardian keys and access the Guardian ending of The Planet Crafter.

Where to Find the Hidden Guardian Keys in The Planet Crafter


As long as the Warden Key Finder is in one of the slots on our equipment, we can find and collect the ten hidden Warden Keys. Each one is usually located on a golden altar that shines when we get close enough.   • 1254:17:246: Located on the central plateau between the Labyrinth Canyons and the Aluminum Hills
  • 713:68:1714: located below the sand falls
  • 927:88:-630: located west of the shipwreck in the Volcanoes
  • 1437:118:554: located on a hill next to the wreck between the Cascade and the Southern Ocean
  • 1329:91:1321: located on the large western island of the Southern Ocean
  • 384:28:1493: located on the island in the middle of the meteorite crater.
