How to Equip/Change New Personas in Persona 5 Phantom X

The ability for the main character to be a "Wild Card," equipping and switching between multiple Personas, has become a defining feature of the Persona series since its solidification in Persona 3. How to Equip Different Personas in Persona 5 X

Wonder can begin changing his equipped Personas as soon as you start unlocking new ones. This can even happen before the mechanic is officially introduced in the main story if you engage with the Contracts system (gacha pulls) early on.There are three primary ways to acquire new Personas for Wonder:

Gacha Pulls (Contracts): This is a main method, allowing you to obtain various Personas, including higher-rarity ones.

Defeating them in Combat: In certain Metaverse encounters, after defeating a Shadow, there's a chance it will become a Persona you can use.

Fusion: Within the Velvet Room, you can fuse existing Personas to create new, more powerful ones. Note that Persona Seals are used in Fusion, meaning you won't lose the original Personas from your Compendium to create new ones.

Regardless of how you acquire a new Persona, they can all be equipped onto Wonder in the same manner. Initially, Wonder can only equip one Persona at a time. However, as he reaches higher levels, he will gain additional Persona slots, eventually being able to equip up to three Personas by the time he hits level 30.
Steps to Equip Personas:

From the main menu, navigate to the "Thieves" menu.

Select Wonder from your list of characters.

Click anywhere around the names of his currently equipped Persona(s) (there might be an empty slot if he has fewer than his maximum equipped). This action will open your Persona Compendium.

Within the Compendium, you can browse all the Personas you've acquired. Select any Persona you wish to equip onto Wonder to assign it to an available slot.

You can change Wonder's equipped Personas anytime you are outside of battle. This same Persona equipping menu can also be accessed from the party menu by clicking the Persona icons displayed below Wonder's character panel.

How to Change Personas in Combat in Persona 5 X

Wonder's unique ability to switch Personas in battle is a powerful tacticaladvantage, allowing him to adapt his affinities and stats to suit theevolving combat situation.

Steps to Change Personas in Combat:

During Wonder's turn in battle, select the "Persona action" (often a dedicated button or command for Persona abilities).

After selecting the Persona action, look for a blue circular icon positioned next to your currently active Persona's name.

Click this blue circular icon. This will open a quick menu displaying all the Personas Wonder currently has equipped.

Select the new Persona you wish to summon. The switch will happen instantly.

Important Combat Switching Details:

• You can switch back and forth between Wonder's equipped Personas as much as you like before making an action on his turn.
• Changing Personas in combat does not consume any resources (like SP or turn actions). This flexibility allows for rapid adjustments, whether you need to exploit a new elemental weakness, set up a specific buff/debuff, or counter anincoming attack.
