This guide breaks down exactly how to obtain Lost Unity, from the crucial vendor recipe to the most efficient farming strategies.

The Lost Unity Vendor Recipe

Unlike most unique items that drop randomly, Lost Unity is exclusively obtained through a specific vendor recipe. You must collect five unique breach rings and sell them together to any vendor.The required rings are:

• The Will of Xoph
• The Will of Tul
• The Will of Esh
• The Will of Uul-Netol
• The Sundered Will

Upon vending these five rings, you will instantly receive one Lost Unity.

Source of the Recipe Rings: It That Fought

The five component rings do not drop from standard breach monsters. They have a single, dedicated source: the twin bosses known as It That Was Tul and It That Was Esh.

These bosses are encountered within a special endgame area called a Hive Colony. Each time you defeat them, they are guaranteed to drop one unique itemfrom their shared loot pool, which includes all five rings needed forthe recipe.

Random Spawn: They have a chance to spawn naturally in any eligible map.

Guaranteed Spawn: Using a Hivebrain Gland fragment in your Map Device alongside a map will guarantee a Hive Colony appears in that area.

Farming Hivebrain Glands: The Key to Consistent Runs

Since Hivebrain Glands are the key to reliable farming, knowing how to get them is essential. Here are the primary methods:

• Defeat Vruun, Marshal of Xesht: This Unstable Breach boss has a chance to appear when you clear an Unstable Breach and can drop the gland.
• Complete a Hive Fortress: This is a sub-area within Breaches that can appear in maps of any tier. Clearing it has a chance to reward a Hivebrain Gland.
• Genesis Tree Mechanics: Using the "Birthing" option on a Mysterious Wombgift at your Hideout's Genesis Tree can yield a Hivebrain Gland.
• Player Trade: For those not in SSF, the most straightforward method is to purchaseHivebrain Glands from other players via the in-game trade website.
