Its greatest secret—a locked cellar door at the base of the western wall—guarantees some of the best loot available, but opening it requires solving a multi-step puzzle. This comprehensive guide will walk you through the entire process, from locating the three essential fuzes to securing your high-value rewards and extracting safely.

The Ancient Fort Cellar Puzzle Explained

Your primary objective at the Ancient Fort is to find three fuzes (also called power cells) and insert them into three corresponding fuze boxes. These boxes are fixed in specific locations, making that part of the puzzle straightforward. The challenge lies in scavenging for the fuzes themselves, as they have over a dozen potential spawn points on and around the fort grounds.Fixed Fuze Box Locations:

Exterior South Wall: The first box is on the outside of the fort, at the base of the southern wall.

Second-Floor Courtyard: After entering the fort and climbing the first set of stairs, you'll find the second box in the open courtyard.

Main Building Second Floor: The final box is inside the fort's main structure on the second floor, positioned directly beside the ladder that leads to the roof.

All Potential Fuze Spawn Locations

• West of the Fort: Inside a derelict home that has a large pole through it.
• Southern Exterior: Directly opposite the first fuze box on the south side.
• Near the Road: To the right of the previous location, next to a wrecked car.
• Eastern Ruins: Inside a broken house structure equipped with radio dishes and a generator.
• Northeast Edge: Check the destroyed house situated next to a zipline.
• Further Northeast: Opposite the previous spot, another ruined house with shelves and a sofa contains a spawn pallet.
• Western Road (First Stop): Follow the road west to find a wooden pallet sitting between two traffic cones.
• Western Road (Second Stop): Continue down the road past a fallen pole to find another broken structure with a pallet outside.
• Northwest Edge: Search the wooden pallets on the northwest perimeter of the fort.
• Inside the Fort (Ground Floor): From the first flight of stairs, turn right into a room with a hole in the ceiling. Look near the lockers for a spawn pallet.
• At the Summit: Use the ladder near the third fuze box to climb to the very top of thefort. A pallet next to the large antenna can also spawn a fuze.
