How To Bind Skills in Path of Exile 2

In Path of Exile 2, players can harness abilities and skills through Skill Gems, which are conveniently slotted into a dedicated menu distinct from your Armor. In PoE 2, you can unlock Skills by obtaining Uncut Skill Gems and Uncut Support Gems from monster and chest drops, along with certain quests. Once you utilize an Uncut Skill Gem and choose a Skill to unlock, a Skill Gem of your selected ability will be added to your inventory.
Next, you'll need to add the ability to your Skill Menu and bind it to your action bar for easy access and use. This guide details the process of binding new abilities in Path of Exile 2, equipping Skill Gems to unlock these abilities, and the steps required to bind new skills for players on both PC and Console.
Press the G Key to access your Skill Menu and explore all your current Skills. Players on console need to access their character menu and navigate to the Skills tab. This screen displays your currently-equipped Skill Gems, organized in distinct rows, each accompanied by a minimum of two Support Gem slots on the right.
To acquire your Skill Gem, simply left-click on it (orright-click to access the Skill Menu instantly), then drag it to one ofthe empty circles on the far left. To the right of the larger socket onthe left of each entry in this menu, you'll find two smaller socketsdesigned specifically for Support Gems, not Skill Gems.
Simplydrag your selected Skill Gem over to the large socket on the left anddrop it in to enhance your Skills. A small icon will appear above theSkill Gem once the Gem is socketed.
To equip and bind a newskill, you have two options: simply drag the Icon to your action bar and drop it onto your desired key, or left-click a slot on your action barto bind your new Path of Exile 2 skill.
To add a skill toyour action bar, simply drag it from your Skill Menu. Once placed, yourcharacter will cast the skill with a quick press of the correspondingkey binding. To select a skill, simply left-click the button onyour action bar. As you hover over each Skill that appears, ensure youchoose the right one, then left-click your selection to bind it to thatbutton.
To re-bind a current skill, simply utilize the sametechniques. To customize your action bar, simply drag the skill iconfrom the Skill Menu to your preferred binding, or click on a button onyour action bar to re-assign Skills using the mini-menu that appears.
For console players, equipping and binding new Skill Gems in Path of Exile 2 is a seamless experience. Select your Skill Gem from your Inventory and press X (Xbox) or Circle (PlayStation) to proceed. The Skill Menu willopen automatically, seamlessly equipping it into your current Skilllist.
