Our guide today aims to explain How to Clear Securement Silo Alpha in Once Human.
Securement Silos in Once Human are labyrinths, dungeon-like encounters full of challenge and reward. A silo itself sets a different environment with a gathering of secrets that a player should find out. Securement Silo Alpha is known for its complicated layout and requires players to backtrace or get off the common paths in many cases to progress forward. Want to navigate this intricate challenge effectively and maximize your rewards? We have put together a complete Securement Silo Alpha guide for you. Now, through this extensive walkthrough, every nook and corner will be shown to you so that you don't miss a single piece of this valuable loot or the hidden collectibles that this silo has in store.
Where to find Securement Silo Alpha in Once Human?
Security Silo Alpha is nestled in the northwest corner of Chalk Peak, so farming here is very local to both the Tall Grass Inn and the Monolith of Thirst. This has the advantage of proximity to a Teleporter, greatly increasing accessibility and improving its reputation with players.
Players should at least be at level 35 to have the most efficient runs when trying to farm Normal difficulty. Silo Alpha is one of theHelmet Mods and Armor Mod Parts farming locations. These mods improve any character. There are also possibilities to obtain some rare Deviations, which makes the farming a bit more exciting. However, in search of better rewards, players will want to try Hard or Pro difficulties where possible, especially with Controllers on hand.
Although the silo is principally a home to Rosetta Soldiers, therefore making it an excellent source of Gunpowder, its value extends beyond just ammunition. The hiding of a Seepage Zone and a mini-boss encounter offers further exploration with potential loot. But most players will be looking at the reliable supply of valuable crafting materials.
How to Clear Securement Silo Alpha in Once Human?
Securement Silo Alpha's Seepage Zone adds a whole new level of depth to the game that parallels the strongly puzzle-oriented design of Securement Silo Theta. The details of this area are complex and will be discussed at greater length later in the guide. For the time being, let's work through the local obstructions around Silo Alpha.
The first challenge you face is a treacherous Minefield Drop requiring precision and fast reactions. Players can make this environment a little less toxic by destroying Spore clusters, but the next crate is always pretty lean. A bit further down this treacherous intro is a Rosetta soldier stronghold, well fortified. Players will have some chance of using explosive barrels to thin the enemy forces briefly before unloading a combat Deviant to really hammer them hard, which may prove pretty necessary in overcoming such strong resistance from enemies in this part of the silo.
On the left, the next hallway is sealed by a Keycard-activated door and guarded by two Rosetta soldiers. This point will come in handy later in your journey, so remember it well. For now, focus on the far-right passage, while taking great care to avoid the laser beams cutting across your path. These are usually dodged by crouching low, though always be careful. Upon reaching the corridor's terminus, seek out and activate the switch designed to deactivate the laser grid.
The next room is a much more significant challenge: an Elite Rosetta guard with the Keycard you need to obtain. He and his crew must be taken out carefully. On the wall next to the Elite's body is a Keycard door; blow your way in to show a possibly better weapon to keep fighting with. Now that you have done this, make your way back to the previous, locked Keycard door you passed in front of before confronting the laser traps.
Reaching the Mini-Boss and Conquering the Seepage Zone
When you break through the door with the keycard, clear out the hostiles from the large room that comes next. Climb the scaffolding to obtain the crates with goodies; don't forget to check the little rooms around for even more treasure.
At the very end of this section, you'll have a choice between two paths. The corridor to the left will lead you into the climactic mini-boss fight, and the one on the right will take you into the Seepage Zone. I highly recommend entering the latter first, gathering crates on your way in.
This is a Seepage Zone—a sort of ad hoc theater filled with Rosetta soldiers and their droned counterparts. Take them both down quickly, because what comes next requires some focus: the activation of five blue electricity generators around the room.
Use a Stun Baton or any other weapon that causes Power Surge or Shock damage to activate all these generators. Another way is the use of explosive devices that have Shock properties. Once all generators are working, the quite formidable Deviant mini-boss spawns.
Well, defeating the Deviant is fairly worth the effort since it drops good loot—outclassing Armor Mods and Armor Mod Parts.
Navigating Securement Silo Alpha
With the Seepage Zone fully explored and looted, make your way back to the entrance. You will find the second door, this one locked in place. You will know at this point that this is the final confrontation in Securement Silo Alpha. Be prepared—the mini-boss that awaits you will not go down easily.
First off, you need to clear these Rosetta soldiers systematically, with special regard toward those who are equipped with grenade launchers. Their explosive weaponry may easily turn the tide against you. Unleashing a Deviant can, in some cases, especially when the kind is a Lonewolf Whisper, make a significant difference between victory and defeat.
In dealing with Sergeant Major Dutch III, use tactical advantages. Somewhat regularly during a mini-boss battle, throw in a grenade to stun the mini-boss. This will give you several great opportunities to land your maximum damage. If he enters shield mode, focus your fire on the elbows and feet that are not protected by his shield.
Beating Sergeant Major Dutch III will open the exit door for you in the room next door. Your labors also yield a prize to remember your success by. You've overcome the obstacles in Securement Silo Alpha.
By the way, beating this guy requires careful planning, clever execution, and, yes, a little luck.
Now that you know How to Clear Securement Silo Alpha in Once Human, you can apply this guide and achieve it to be rewarded.
